As promised, Reina arrived back in Harrenhal that morning. Lord Bracken had bent the knee and swore to his army and life to Rhaenyra. Reina had to admit threats were not a good way to get people to join her cause but she knew that as long as the Blackwoods were on Rhaenyra's side the Brackens would not join. That was the only way.

Jacaerys watched her arrive from his room. He watched many lords, young and old approach her. They were asking if she was married or eligible for marriage. She laughed and told them she was not set to marry yet but they would be the first to know. Despite her cold and hard demeanor, she bonded well with anyone she crossed paths with. Daemon approached her after she conversed with other lords, earning the respect of the other lords of the nearby lands.

Daemon gave her a look and she quickly understood. "How can I help you, your grace?" Daemon could see a bit of his aunt in her. The way her smile was made to trap and seduce men. To entice them with her beauty. He caressed her cheek, she scoffed and pulled back. "Do keep hands to yourself, Daemon. We wouldn't want the prince of the realm to lose a hand" Daemon smirked. "A feasty thing that you," he said with his signature smirk. "Is there something you actually wanted to talk about or did you just call me here to bother me?" she asked and he rolled his eyes.

"Saera Targaryen made a life for herself" he stated. She nodded. "She did. I supposed being away from the capital did her some good, don't you think?" he nodded too. "Sometimes, being a Targaryen is more of a burden than a blessing" she told him and he could agree with that. "Mother is more happier there than she ever was in King's Landing" Daemon saw a bit of himself in her. "Jacaerys tells me you have your own kingdom to run" she nodded. "Well, they say being a second son is a bad thing. I am a fifth child and a woman. There was nothing I could do that would make me a first born or a son. So, I knew I had to make a name for myself and I did. All of it away from King's Landing and the Targaryen name" she looked at Daemon one last time before she walked away.

Reina left the camp and decided to practice archery. Jacaerys, who was looking for her was worried for her whereabouts. He found her by the Gods Eye. "I have been looking for you" she turned to face him. "You missed supper. I got.. worried" she smiled. "You flatted me, my prince. But all is well" he nodded. He didn't leave. He stayed and watch her practice her shots. "What was your father like?" he asked. "He lives" she told him. "We don't talk as much do to him being away most of the time. He's like to sail, he has his own fleet" he smiled. "So, aside from the fleet you brought with you, there is more?" she nodded. "I am good at why I do. Both my mother and father taught me everything they know" Jacaerys grew up loved.

"My father always loved to remind me that we were way above most. Even than the most powerful lords. But, in the end, it was us. My father, my mother and I. My brothers, they live their own lives, they have their own things going on. But, in the end we are a family who supports one another" she smiled. "Father and I disagree at times and we go days without speaking or even looking at one another. But, I love him. I would anything for him and he for me" Jacaerys nodded.

He took a deep breath. "Is hard... with fathers" he began and she nodded. "Ser Harwin Strong?" she asked and it caught the young prince off guard. But, he realized if she got all the information about King's Landing as soon as she arrived he figured she knew much more about their lives. "He was gentle.. and fierce" she pointed her arrow at her target with a smile on her face. "He loved us, I think" she put her bow down. "Of course he did" he looked at her. "Fathers, are difficult to understand at times, even stubborn. But, they care. They love us. They care for us. And I may not have known ser Harwin, or even Ser Leaner but I know they love you. Where ever they might be they cared for their son. Their daring and brave boy dare I say" he smiled at her and grab his hand, holding it in her own.

Reina saw Jacaerys as an innocent young man at war. He was young, not as young as his brother Lucerys who had been murder by the kinslayer. Jacaerys did not grow up like her, he grew up in a peaceful life but her, she grew up in chaos, blood and fire. "War, is not an easy task to complete. It will hard, bloody and deadly. There will be no victory without bloodshed. And I know you do not like it but it is the true. Better be them than us" he nodded. Jacaerys Velaryon was a smart young man he knew things were about to get more messy and complicated. "I know. I wish it didn't have to be like this" that much was true.

"We grew up together" he began. "Aemond, Aegon, Helen and Daeron in the short amount of time he was in King's Landing. We were close. We were one house and long ago close friends. But, that night. That is all it took for everything to crumble down" Reina saw the pain, the grief, the regret. "It was an accident. It was never supposed to happen that way" he turned away, his eyes glistening up, he knew the tears were a close second. "Baela and Rhaena were concerned about Vhagar. Their late mother's dragon. We went to go check. I took the knife in case we might need it. We were supposed to see who it was and return. Baela and Rhaena were looking for Daemon but he was nowhere to be found" he took a deep breath.

"Instead, we found Aemond. He was happy and for a brief second I was happy for him. Until he started talking about Ser Harwin and his dead. About our father, Luke didn't know it then. Our true heritage. He made fun of Lady Laena and her death, Rhaena attacked him first followed by Baela and from there, everything happened so fast that I didn't know where it all went wrong. Luke didn't mean to hurt him. He cared for Aemond as much as he cared for the rest. The same way I cared for them, even know" he looked at her. "I feel about what happened when Helaena and her son. I don't think what Daemon did was right. He was wrong, the way things were handle not right. Mistakes were made and now, it has led to this" Reina looked at him. He cared for his family despite all.

Reina grabbed his face. "They do not care, Jacaerys. It does not matter what type of brotherhood you had when you were young, it is done. They stole your mother's throne, they murder your brother in cold blood and they threw a feast in celebration of his death. They left your grandfather to rot whilst they crown a drunk rapist as king" Jacaerys saw the fire in her eyes. "We will make it worth. Everything that has been sacrificed will be worth it" he nodded. Jacaerys was lost in her eyes. Her fury, her fire, her strength. Daemon watched them from afar. Jacaerys was very he knew that but with her, they could be dangerous together. And she could not take Baela's spot as the future queen.

Jacaerys eyes connected with her. Dark brown met lilac. He could get lost them. Daemon saw Rhaenyra and Harwin once again. Reina was a great ally but she was a threat to his daughter's crown. And he was not willing to loose it like he lost his.
