Everyone knew Targaryens were dragon riders. It was only fair that Aelora had her own. She had three—the Cannibal, Silverwing, and Vermithor. No one ever noticed they were gone. Many assumed they were in one of the many caves of Dragonstone. Regardless, she made her way to King's Landing with the Cannibal at her side while the other two remained away. She didn't wish for her secret to be known just yet.

Aelora held love for only a few people, those who she loved were counted with one hand and she'd still have some fingers left. Yet, Daemon Targaryen sneaked into her life without her knowing. She cared for him but she also cared for the family she never had. They'd never know what she was doing for them. But, with time they would understand. He would understand that she did it for him. To protect him, to save him. To save those who he loved.

The road was bumpy, messy, hot, and long. Going on Dragon back it would have been much easier. Yet, she believed it was worth the sacrifice. As she made her way to King's Landing, she began to think of ways to get in, in ways to gain the trust of the royal family. She decided that her dragon, the Cannibal would be her way in. She would fly near the city, she knew people would see the beast and speak, even whisper, and for certain the king would hear them. So, the plan began in within two days she had reached her destination. As she thought, the people of the city spotted the beast and began to run, trying to hide from the dragon in the sky.

Aemond had met her on the sky, she gave him signs she meant no harm. He ordered her to land near the city, the Cannibal was a worthy match to Vhagar, Vhagar was a tad bigger but not by much and he was much younger and faster as prince Aemond had seen. "Who are you?" he asked her as he made his way over to her. "Aelora" she replied. "Aelora who?" he asked. "I have no name to claim, I am just a girl who was abandoned by her parents," she told him. "How did you claim him?" he pointed at her dragon. "I did not claim him. He claimed me" she replied as she petted him and he let her.

He grabbed her hand and her dragon was quick to huff, letting him know that he was there. "Be careful, my prince, my boy is very overprotective of me" Aemond backed away a few steps before turning around. "Come," he said but she did not move. "How do I know you will not kill me?" she asked incredulously. "I promise you, no harm will come to you. You will be my guest. And you will be treated like such" she looked at her dragon one last time. This was her the real work began. She bid goodbye to her dragon before he flew away, but he never went too far, he was aware of her movements.

The people in the Keep stared at the woman next to the prince. They bowed to both of them, they believed her to be a princess, and she held the Targaryen traits and a dragon. Aemond walked her to the council room. "Brother!" the king greeted with a small that fell just as quickly as it came. "Who's this?" his mother asked. "This is Aelora Waters. A bastard of House Targaryen with the Cannibal as her dragon. A dragon that choose her as its rider" Aegon and the people in the room turned to look at her. She looked down, playing her part. "Where do you come from?" someone asked. "The Riverlands. I could not bear the atrocities being committed under Prince Daemon's hand" she told him.

The men in the room quickly tensed at the mention of Daemon. "What do you know about Daemon's whereabouts?" Criston Cole asked. "I was trying to escape the Riverlands. I heard the war had begun after the death of King Viserys so, I opted to run away to the Free Cities" Aelora stopped. "I did not know where I was going truly. So, I ended up in Harrenhal. Lord Simon Strong took me in" Aelora looked at Larys who was staring deeply at her. "I was there for a little while before hearing the whispers. A dragon had arrived and Prince Daemon was on it" She took a deep breath.

The men in the room were listening. Every detail counted. "His arrival had been expected, or so they said. He stated he was there to gather an army for the princess. I cared not for war nor for who sits on the throne. But Prince Daemon was set to gather soldiers one way or another. They said he ordered Lord Blackwood to do whatever it took to get the Brackens to kneel for Rhaenyra. I heard there was bloodshed, many dead. Perhaps more, had there been a battle between the blacks or the green. I do not wish to see bloodshed" she stated sadly, yet deep down she knew bloodshed was inevitable. "So, are you on my side?" Aegon asked. She looked at him, their eyes were similar, yet hers seemed light purple in the light, and dark in the shadows.

Aegon was lost in her eyes, he forgot his own question. "I just want to leave in peace" she looked at Alicent. "I simply wish to ride on dragon back across the Narrow Sea and eat only cake," Alicent thought her ears were deceiving her, at the moment. It was like Rhaenyra was standing right there in the council room. "I know in the Free Cities their oranges are more juicy and sweet," she told them as her eyes locked with those of Criston Cole.

The green queen and her knight saw Rhaenyra in her youth. Her face, her traits, her voice. It was all her. "I just want to be in peace. I wish to be free" Aemond stared at her, a smirk plastered on his face. Aegon saw a new beginning. Perhaps she'd help him be a better man. "Well, since we are technically family, you are much welcome here in King's Landing" Aemond led her away. "We shall set you in a room worthy of a princess," he told her and she smiled. "I would like somewhere quiet and where I can make my own thing. I like to make my own teas and remedies" he nodded. The fool did not think anything of it. "Perhaps, you can join me for dinner tonight?" Aemond asked and she nodded. "I would like that" she replied. "For the time being, you can stay in my room while the maids prepare a room just for you" she nodded.

Aemond led her right into his room. She began her plan, sitting in the room of her first victim. She had dreams. Aemond was gonna kill Lucerys Velaryon, his death would unravel the fall of House Targaryen and she was not about to let that happen. Let the game begin.
