On their drive back Bianca thought of what she had just done. She did not feel better after killing Alexio because it did not change the bitter truth, Chase was still dead.

She must have tensed because Karina laid a reassuring pat on her shoulder. Bianca glanced at her for a second offering a soft smile then returned her focus back to the endless road. Now it was the perfect time for them to discuss how they would carry on, but Bianca suddenly wished to discontinue.

"I want to stop." She said suddenly. She did not turn to face Karina but could see her stare from the corner of her eye. Her knuckles turned white as she clutched the steering wheel tighter.

"You want to stop what?" Karina asked. Bianca knew she knew what she meant.

Feeling utterly overwhelmed by emotions, she pulled the car over to the side of the road.

She sighed closing her eyes, thinking of her response. "This. This whole revenge bullshit. I want to stop." She said now turning to look at her sister.

"No. Bianca no. Please. Not when we have made it to this point." Karina objected.

"To what point? This is not worth anything if I lose the people I love because of it. First, mom hates me and now Chase is dead. I can't bare to lose anymore people. I can't bare to lose you. " She sniffled tears rolling down her cheeks.

"Hey," Karina smiled sadly wiping her tears, "you will never lose me okay? I am not going anywhere. If we give up now, Chase's death will have been for nothing. Please, he would not want you to give up. You know that too." She said pulling her sister for a hug.

She knew Karina was right, but she did not have the strength to carry on any longer.

"It's just you and me now.  That's how it has always been and will always be. Yeah?" Karina withdrew from the hug and held her hand.

"Okay. But can you stay a little longer?"

"Probably not the best idea. I have to go back to LA. Alexio's death is going to stirr up some chaos back there. All his associates and allies are gonna want to come for our blood so I need to make sure nothing gets out of control and kill anyone who tries to threaten you and our family.

"Maybe I didn't think this through." Bianca admitted  rubbing the back of her neck.

"Please. You would not change anything about what you did even if you could." Karina scoffed and she shrugged her shoulders guiltily.

"You wanna drive, i don't feel well ?" Bianca asked and Karina nodded then they exchanged seats.

"Speaking of our family," Karina started putting the car to drive, "I wanted to ask. Mom--"

"Please. I don't wanna talk about it." Bianca cut her off. She did not need to be reminded of what had happened.

"Wait. No, I need to know what you said to her. Mom is completely of the view that she failed you." Karina insisted focusing on the road and frequently looking at the GPS.
