How It All Began?

Let's talk about a boy named Charlie.

Charlie is a game fan, a very big game fan, he loves to play his games for hours on end, on his console, with his controller.

One day, he sees in his regular game store, there's a new game on the shelf, called "BOTO: The Game" and the cover shows various different objects with black limbs and beady eyes and line mouths, one of which looks like the controller he uses.

Now he decides to buy this game, because he's never heard of it before.

But little does he know, this game will ruin his life, and the lives of several vastly different people.

Charlie starts up the game and it turns out to be a platformer, he is playing as the controller character he saw on the cover, which again, looks really oddly similar to his own controller. Really similar... but he passes it off as the game being based off of the console.

He manages to reach what appears to be a fortress, he decides that he should see what is inside, so his character enters...

And then the game breaks and the TV screen starts to flash colours rapidly.

He's mad now, this game was getting good and now it's broken!

So he decides to stop playing and lets go of his controller.

He can't let go of the controller.

It's like it is stuck to his skin, he tries to pull it off, but when he does, his skin starts to burn, and the controller melts into his body.

His arms and legs slowly change colour and become short black limbs, his skin turns from natural fleshy skin to hard, grey plastic, all his distinguishing features vanish, and his body shifts into the shape of his own controller, several buttons sticking out of his body.

What distinguished him from being a boy is gone, yet he still fells like one...

"coughing W-what is happening to-"

But then the worst part begins, his consciousness starts to fade away, as it is replaced by a new one, instead of caring about GAMES, Charlly cares more about GAMESHOWS. He feels that he is hosting his own show, a brawl of objects, and just like that...

Charlie is gone, and Controlly is here.

He doesn't get to speak though, as he is sucked into the TV screen, into a new world, where more will soon come to be.

The glitched out TV starts to release smoke, like it is malfunctioning, some wires and strange liquid start to exit it, and it starts to move, it gets off of the table where it once resided.

And it exits the now long gone Charlie's house.

And goes out into the wide world, for it's next victim.
