Alyssa's prespective:
While I was having breakfast, I noticed Travis's presence and wondered why he was here. I decided to ask my mom about it, and she informed me that Travis was constructing a new chicken coop to replace our old one that was falling apart. Lindsey suggested that I could help him once I felt better. After finishing my breakfast, I headed towards the door, put on my shoes and coat, and went outside. As I peeked around the corner, I caught sight of Travis. Our eyes met briefly, and I quickly looked away, feeling my face turn red. I started trembling with nervousness, silently hoping that he wouldn't come over to where I was. Thankfully, he didn't, so I went back inside. I grabbed an apple, cut it in half, and removed the seeds. Taking the apple slices, I made my way to the stables to feed Carmel. Carmel greeted me with excitement as he saw me. "Hey, Carmel boy," I greeted him. I fed him the apple slices and praised him, petting his mane. Suddenly, I heard footsteps approaching, and it turned out to be Travis. "Miss Alyssa," he called out. "Hello, Blonde. What do you want?" I asked him. I came to check on your well-being, Travis said to Alyssa. You don't look well, are you feeling okay? I looked at him and replied, no, I'm not fine. I have a stomachache, I said. Travis winced and apologized, saying he understands how unpleasant they can be. I looked at him skeptically and asked if he really experiences them too. He nodded. I then asked him for a favor. He looked at me and said it depends on what it is. I rolled my eyes and asked if he could feed Carmel for me. He agreed. I smiled and thanked him, instructing him to cut the apple in half, remove the seeds, and give it to Carmel. He nodded and said he understood. As I walked away, I heard Travis calling my name. I stopped and turned to face him. He wished me a speedy recovery. I smiled and called him a sweetheart. He blushed, and I continued walking back inside. I turned around and noticed Travis's slightly flushed face. I went back inside, took off my shoes and coat, and marched back upstairs to bed.
