Cherie walks to the local chapel and finds the band there. There is no one else around. She goes to sit down in the front pew facing the lit candles and the cross on the wall.
Lita: Hey Cherie.
Cherie looks at Lita, confused, because the witch had cast a spell convincing them she was Marie. All of them look at Cherie as she sits down in the pew. Joan sits next to Cherie, her medals and charms on her black leather jacket shining in the candle light, while the rest of the girls sit in the pew behind them.
Joan: [turns to face back] You guys gotta be more careful, I found the notepad in the trash at the hotel. I rewrote every song and every action we will be doing nice and neat. Let's review it one last time with Cherie.
The girls all go over their parts on Joan's note. Their practice makes them perfectly comfortable with the performance. Cherie decides to close her eyes and pray. Then she starts crying because of the loss of her voice, her distance from her father, and how, even if she gets along great with her bandmates and other people on tour, it just wasn't all the fun that she was used to. Also, as the lead singer, The Runaways would never be the same. Time goes by until finally, The Runaways are ready to head to the show. Joan says one last thing.
Joan: [closes eyes] Thank you, Lord, for electric guitars and, uh... dancing with red shoes...
Sandy: ... and drums, surfing, and the art of hearing the cars roll by out on 441 like waves crashing on Huntington Beach...
Jackie: ... and bass! God truly gave rock 'n' roll to us.
Lita: Thanks Lord, I guess, for I'm young now, I'm wild now, and I gotta be free. For now, I got the magic power of the music in me [looks at Cherie].
Cherie: [looks at Lita, does the air guitar and headbangs].
Lita: [smiles].
Joan: And just like Sheena, I'm a punk rocker! Oww!!! Amen! I think that's what you're supposed to say.
Cherie: Runaways never die.
Joan: [gets up, faces the girls] For those about to rock, I salute you [salutes]. Now, let's rock this joint, shake this place, 'cause we wanna die with smiles on our faces!
Jackie, Lita, and Sandy: Hey... hey, hey, hey!!!
A white Lincoln Continental pulls up to the chapel and the girls get in to be brought to the venue for their show. The radio is miraculously playing The Ramones - Sheena Is a Punk Rocker, and Joan wildly sings and head bangs to the song.
Joan and Joey Ramone (singing):
Well the kids are all hopped up and ready to go
They're ready to go now
They got their surfboards and they're going to the discotheque-a-go-go
But she just couldn't stay
She had to break away
Well New York City really has it all
Oh yeah, oh yeah
Sheena is a punk rocker
Sheena is a punk rocker
Sheena is a punk rocker now
Sheena is a punk rocker
Sheena is a punk rocker
Sheena is a punk rocker now
Well she's a punk, punk, a punk rocker
Punk, punk, a punk rocker
Punk, punk, a punk rocker
Punk, punk, a punk rocker
Well the kids are all hopped up and ready to go
They're ready to go now
They got their surfboards and they're going to the discotheque-a-go-go
But she just couldn't stay
She had to break away
Well New York City really has it all
Oh yeah, oh yeah
Sheena is a punk rocker
Sheena is a punk rocker
Sheena is a punk rocker now
Sheena is a punk rocker
Sheena is a punk rocker
Sheena is a punk rocker now
Well she's a punk, punk, a punk rocker
Punk, punk, a punk rocker
Punk, punk, a punk rocker
Punk, punk, a punk rocker
Sheena is a punk rocker
Sheena is a punk rocker
Sheena is a punk rocker now
Sheena is a punk rocker
Sheena is a punk rocker
Sheena is a punk rocker now
Sheena is a punk rocker
Sheena is a punk rocker
Sheena is a punk rocker now
Sheena is a punk rocker
Sheena is...
