Zhanghao licked his lips nervously as he rubbed his hands together. He let out a low sigh and opened the door. Ji Woong turned around once he heard the door open."Hao.." He muttered, standing up from his chair. Zhanghao gave him a tight smile. "Evening Ji Woong" He said and sat, facing Ji Woong.
"It's nice to see you..after awhile" Ji Woong said and Zhanghao nodded as he looked elsewhere, not being able to look at Ji Woong.
"Yeah I uh-...I've been busy" He lied and Ji Woong looked at him for some seconds not saying anything. He nodded and grabbed the menu.
"I suspect it has something to do with the kiss"
Ji Woong said and Zhanghao looked at him as his heart fell. He didn't reply making Ji Woong smile to himself. He dropped the menu and looked at Zhanghao.
"I've actually been trying to reach out to you. To apologize. I should have considered you before acting. I'm sorry for causing you any discomfort"Zhanghao pursed his lips and sighed lowly.
He rubbed his forehead and looked at him."No..Don't. Don't apologize Ji Woong. We kissed.
I..I kissed you back Ji Woong. You don't have a reason to apologize" He said lowly.Ji Woong looked at him as a smile slowly formed on his face. "Really? I was so worried and uneasy." He said as his hand reached to Zhanghao's, rubbing it softly.
Zhanghao slightly flinched when he felt the cold tips of Ji Woong's fingers on his hand. He licked his dry lips nervously and looked at Ji Woong, returning the smile.
"Let's order"
-
"Thanks for meeting me Hao. I feel at ease now"
Ji Woong said as he walked beside Zhanghao.
Zhanghao nodded as he folded his arms, enjoying the cool breeze.Zhanghao sighed and looked down making
Ji Woong turn his head to him upon hearing his sigh. "Is something wrong?"Zhanghao shook his head, not wanting to pay attention to the unsettling feeling at the bottom of his heart. He put up a smile and nodded.
"Yeah no- I uh..Just tired" Zhanghao muttered and
Ji Woong sighed. He held Zhanghao's hand, stopping him from walking any further.Zhanghao raised his brows as Ji Woong held his arms, turning him around. "I know something's up Hao and I see you're not free sharing that with me."
Ji Woong paused and gently held Zhanghao's hand.
"But whatever it is, Just know I'm here for you.
Always"Zhanghao kept quiet as he slowly nodded.
"Mm...Thanks" He muttered and faced front.
They kept quiet till they walked to Zhanghao's car."Alright then. Get home safely" Ji Woong said, rubbing Zhanghao's hand. Zhanghao nodded and pulled his hand away from Ji Woong.
"Yeah" he muttered and Ji Woong smiled as he turned. Zhanghao looked away from Ji Woong and rested his head on the steering wheel as he sighed.
Ji Woong stopped his steps as he brushed his hair backwards, a harsh sigh leaving his lips. He turned and walked back to Zhanghao's car.
Zhanghao raised his head when he heard footsteps.
He turned his head and saw Ji Woong walking back to him. His brows furrowed."Is something wro–
He was immediately cut short as Ji Woong held his head softly, pulling him in for a kiss.-
Ji Han quickly looked away when Xie turned her head to him. He whistled as he looked around the arcade, pretending like he wasn't following her.
Xie glared at his poor attempt in pretense. She turned back and inserted her coins as she began to play the game.
Ji Han looked back and moved slowly to her as he watched her play. His brows furrowed as he got too immersed in her gameplay.
"Yes! Ha you really crushed his-...ass" Ji Han gulped when Xie turned around with a glare.
"Ha ha.." Ji Han nervously chuckled and took out his phone. "Hello? Uncle? I should come back home now? Hah yes sure sure—
Ji Han spoke to his phone and turned around but Xie held his shirt, pulling his back.
"And you say you're not following me"Ji Han's head fell in defeat as he sighed.
"Yes. I'm sorry for following you. You caught me this time. I promise, you won't catch me the next time–"What?!" Xie yelled and his eyes widened.
"I mean- no wait- I mean, I won't do it again. I spoke without thinking- I..gosh Ji Han get a grip of yourself..As I said, I won't—"Yes Yes. You can keep quiet now" Xie said and clicked her tongue as she turned back to her game.
"Does that mean that I can stay? And play games with you?" Ji Han hopefully asked and Xie looked at his face, grimacing as she turned back to her game.
"As long as you're quiet–
Xie didn't even finish her words as Ji Han quickly sat beside her, not being able to hide his excitement."Wah, I'm sitting beside you, who knows we might become best friends at the end of today- then when we'll get married...-I call dibs on naming the first baby—
He immediately kept quiet when Xie glared at him.
He gulped and cleared his throat. "Sorry"Xie turned back and continued playing the game.
Ji Han kept quiet as he watched her play. His mouth opened when he remembered something.
"Now that we're friends, give me your number so we can text in the midnight like friends do. We can call each other during the weekends even–
"Are you sure you have friends? You don't sound like you do" Xie asked, her eyes not leaving the screen.
"Well you don't too"
Xie paused her game and shrugged as she smacked her lips. "Fair point" She said and slid her phone to him. "Put it in" She said and continued playing her game.
Ji Han smiled and gave her back her phone.
"Handsome bestie? Who lied to you?" Xie asked when she read out what Ji Han saved his number as.Ji Han stood up chuckling. "Whether you like it or not, we're best friends starting from today" He said and Xie scoffed. "You sure do like deceiving yourself"
Ji Han held the straps of his bag. "Well..best friend, It's running late. My uncle's probably back by now. I've got to go"
Xie hummed and started a new game.
"No bye?" He asked and Xie ignored him. He pursed his lips. Soon a mischievous smile appeared on his lips as he quickly pecked her cheek."Yah! That's disgusting!" She yelled, wiping her cheek as she looked at Ji Han who ran out of the arcade. "Tch..weirdo"
