Zhanghao rubbed his forehead sighing. He turned his head back when he heard the door open. The doctor looked at him with a smile on her face."Mr Sung, Pleased to see you again. You must be here for your test results" She said smiling. Zhanghao nodded and she turned.
"I must say, I am worried for your health" she said as her brows knitted in worry. "Is everything fine at home? Your blood pressure is very high, so are your stress levels"
Zhanghao gulped as he held his shaking hands, giving her a small smile. "Is that all?" He muttered.
The doctor sighed and opened the file before her.
"I don't know what's going on Mr. Sung but you need to have rest immediately. Your body is deteriorating.According to the results, You're malnourished. You need to eat. It's a high need at this point. Your body is failing as you're lacking so much nutrients.
You need to leave whatever environment you're in as it's causing you harm" She said and Zhanghao looked away from her, looking elsewhere.
Picking his thumb as her words ran through his mind.
"More over, this isn't the result expected of someone expecting. You have to think of your baby too Mr. Sung, you're risking two lives here—
Zhanghao's head immediately shot up.
"W-What did you just say?" The doctor's brows furrowed."Your baby is at risk here because of your malnutri-
"Wha-..What baby?" Zhanghao stuttered as he he felt his heart sink. The doctor looked at him in confusion. She looked back at the file to confirm.
"If I'm not mistaken, You're two months pregnant
Mr. Sung" She said and Zhanghao's face fell."Pregnant?" He croaked out in shock.
-
Zhanghao dragged his feet as he walked. His thoughts all over the place. "N-No.." He muttered, sitting on his bed.
"No..No no no no..no- it can't be– it shouldn't be"
He muttered, his eyes brimming with tears as he fisted his hair. "No..please..I can't..""W-What do I do? H-Hanbin..-no..Ji Wooong-oh gosh..what have I done?" He kept muttering as his tears fell down his cheeks.
He shook his head repeatedly, refusing to accept reality. "I-I'm pregnant..no" He muttered, his hand shaking as he touched his belly.
He closed his eyes as he head fell back.
"No..no"-
Xie got down the stairs and saw Zhanghao seated on the couch, staring into nothing. Hanbin was by the shelf picking out some books.
She turned her head away from them. She walked into the kitchen, pouring some water into a glass cup. Just as she was to pick it, she felt her head spin.
She raised her hand to touch her head but her hand mistakenly knocked over the glass cup making it fall and shatter on the floor.
Xie held the island as she felt dizzy. Everywhere spun around in her eyes. She closed her eyes tight as a hard headache hit her, a loud ringing in her ears.
She opened her eyes feeling someone shake her shoulders, the ringing slowly dying down.
She saw Zhanghao holding her shoulders as he worriedly panted, looking at her. "X-Xie..baby are you okay?" Zhanghao stuttered in worry, checking her body to see if she got injured.
Hanbin walked in and saw the broken glass cup and worried looked at Xie. "Xie. Are you alright?"
Xie kept quiet not replying any of them. She slowly raised her hands, taking off Zhanghao's hands off her shoulders.
She turned and slowly crouched as her shaking fingers reached to pick up the broken glasses.
Zhanghao's eyes widened. "Xie, you'll hurt yourself. Leave it-Xie moved away when he tried to touch her hand.
Zhanghao moved and held her hand. Xie turned and pushed him away making him fall to the ground."Xie!" Hanbin yelled when he saw how she pushed him. He hurriedly crouched to Zhanghao, helping him up. Zhanghao's brows furrowed as he felt a sharp pain in his belly.
He wrapped his hand round his belly groaning.
Xie looked at the two of them, no expression on her face. She turned around slowly and crouched back. She looked at her fingers, they were profusely bleeding.
She looked away from her hands and began to pick up the glasses.
Zhanghao looked at her, gritting his teeth as he felt tears brim his eyes. "What is wrong with you Xie?!"
He yelled, his hands shaking as he clenched his fists."I did everything for you- you have everything now- you should be an adult now!" He yelled, his tears running down his cheeks.
Xie kept quiet not saying anything as she kept on picking the shards.
"Can't you behave for one day? What's the problem?!" He yelled panting as he looked at Xie.
"What did I do wrong?!" Xie yelled as her eyes widened in anger. She threw the glass shards on the floor in anger as she stood up.
"Xie, stop it" Hanbin said when Xie yelled back at Zhanghao.
"I didn't do anything wrong! You did! What do you want from me?! Why are you yelling?!"She yelled.
Hanbin walked and held her shoulders.
"Don't yell at him Xie- he's your–"How patient must I be with you?" Zhanghao asked, his brows furrowing in hurt. "Huh?"
"How much more must I take?! How much more must I suffer?!" Zhanghao yelled as his tears fell down his eyes.
"I didn't tell you to cheat!—
Tahh!
Xie's eyes widened as her head fell in the direction of the slap. Her body shook as she slowly turned, looking at Zhanghao in shock.
"Get your act together.." Zhanghao muttered.
"How many more times will I say sorry?! How much harder must it get for me?!" Zhanghao yelled, knocking down the flower vase that was on the island. He panted looking at the shattered vase on the, his tears running down his cheeks.
Xie still looked at Zhanghao in shock and disbelief. She didn't say anything as she quietly turned. Her feet stepping on the broken shards of glass.
"Xie.." Hanbin called but it was blurred in her ears.
She quietly walked out of the kitchen with no words.
