2 years later*

Xie wore her headphones, turning the volume to the highest as she grabbed an apple off the dining table, immediately walking away, ignoring Zhanghao's calls.

-

She closed her lockers and flinched when she saw
Ji Han leaning on the next locker. "Good morning my lady" He said with a smug smile.

Xie ignored him, grabbing her bag as she walked down the hallway. Ji Han rushed after her, hooking his arm over her shoulder. "Yah you can't greet back?" He asked, softly pinching her cheek.

Xie still ignored him as she walked. Ji Han scoffed and took off her headphones making her stop walking. "What?" She asked glaring at him.

"Grumpy much" He said and Xie snatched her headphones back from him. "I've got class" She said and Ji Han nodded. "I already know. Here take this. It's lunch" He said and gave her a lunchbox.

"Shush go in. Or you'll be late for class" Ji Han said once Xie wanted to reject the food. He slightly pushed her into her class.

"Listen to the teacher okay? Don't cause a ruckus. I'll come pick you up after class. Hm?" Ji Han said smiling as he patted Xie's head. Xie slapped his hand away as she glared at him, walking into her class.

Ji Han wavered his burning hand in the air as he chuckled. "Still feisty as ever"

-

Xie groaned and wrapped her arms round her belly.
Her classmate fisted her hair as he pulled her head backwards. "Does this look better?" Taejin, Chaeun's boyfriend asked with a smirk.

Chaeun crossed her arms as she smiled.
"Better. I can see her ugly face now" Chaeun said and tilted her head looking at Xie.

Xie gritted her teeth as she glared at Chaeun.
"You're still glaring?!" Taejin yelled and raised his fist to punch her but Chaeun held his hand.

"I'm sure we don't want to cause face wounds for obvious reasons." She said and looked at Xie who glared at her.

"Wahh I really can't stay you. Who do you think you are? Really? Is it because you top the class? Yah, Anyone can do that" Chaeun said and stepped on Xie's ankle.

"A-Ahh" Xie groaned making Chaeun smile.

"Xie?!" Xie turned her head to the closed door as she heard Ji Han call her name from the hallway. Chaeun gritted her teeth and took her foot away from Xie.

"You got lucky" she said pointing at her.
"Let's go babe" She said to Taejin. Taejin looked at Xie, scoffing at how pathetic she looked.

Xie looked back to the door as Ji Han walked in.
"What are you doing all alone here?" Ji Han asked, walking into her classroom. "And why do you look like that? Your hair—

Xie slapped his hand away once Ji Han tried to touch her hair. She pulled up her gym jacket, covering her arms as she slowly stood up, gritting her teeth in pain.

"Are you sure you're okay?" Ji Han asked worriedly as he grabbed her bag. Xie brushed her hair backwards, giving him a small nod as she began to walk.

"You're paying for the fried chicken this time"
Xie muttered, not looking at Ji Han. Ji Han looked at her for some seconds before nodding.

"I got enough money, We can even buy a bucket of it. You know, they added a new menu. I didn't even know chicken could taste that way..."

Xie quietly walked, putting her aching hands in her pockets as Ji Han continued to ramble.

-

"Ji Woong, not again..." Zhanghao muttered looking at the time in his phone. He got out of Ji Woong's arm, getting out of the bed.

Ji Woong turned on the bed, resting his head on his hand as he looked at Zhanghao. "Stay for an hour more" he said as his eyes followed Zhanghao who limped into his closet.

Ji Woong let out a low sigh when Zhanghao didn't reply him. "If you're in a hurry, you can go shower. I'll prepare some clothes for you" He said and Zhanghao immediately walked out, heading for the shower.

Ji Woong pursed his lips and ruffled his hair once he heard the shower. He got out of his bed and walked into his closet, picking out his clothes for Zhanghao.

-

Ji Woong sat on the edge of his bed as he watched Zhanghao dress up. He stood up and walked to him, hugging him from behind as he buried his face in his neck.

"Thirty minutes? No?" Ji Woong whispered.
Zhanghao sighed and shook his head. "No Ji Woong. I have to go" He said and Ji Woong clicked his tongue, not liking what he heard.

He moved away from Zhanghao, ruffling his hair.
"I don't understand Hao. I really don't.."

Zhanghao turned and looked at Ji Woong in confusion as he tied his hair up. "What?.."

Ji Woong rubbed his face sighing. "Us. I don't understand us.."

"What don't you understand?" Zhanghao asked looking back to the mirror. Ji Woong pursed his lips.
"We've been seeing each other for almost three years now. Yet we still don't have a title"

Zhanghao paused his actions and turned his head to
Ji Woong. "Huh?"

Ji Woong pinched the ridge of his nose, closing his eyes in frustration. "Don't start Hao. Don't play confused when you clearly know what I'm talking about" He said and Zhanghao looked away.

"You always pull up this confused act whenever I ask about us. Is something up? 'Cause I'm really confused. We've been seeing each other for years now, one minute you act like you like me, the next minute you remind me that we're not official"

Zhanghao sighed rubbing his forehead.
"I've told you already Ji Woong. I'm not..ready for commitment–

"I get you Hao. You've said that almost everytime and I truly respect that. I waited out for you thinking you needed more time understanding our relationship but it seems like it's going nowhere"

"It's like you enjoy how messed up you're making me. It's like you're just here to lead me on. If you don't want something serious with me make it clear Hao.. My feelings are not play toys"

Ji Woong said. He saw Zhanghao keep quiet making him more vexed up. "I can't do this.." he muttered, grabbing his phone.

"Ji Woong! Ji–
Zhanghao paused and sighed, rubbing his forehead as Ji Woong stormed out.
