Zhanghao rubbed his chest as he cried. He looked around, muttering Xie's name. "Xie.. please.. I'm sorry.. come back.." He muttered, walking. He had searched. His head was spinning, he felt his body failing on him like he was going to fall and faint any moment from now. He had cried that nothing could come out anymore.
He closed his eyes, shaking his head.
"Xie.." He called sighing. He walked on to the Han River Bridge, sighing as he looked around."Xie...where are you baby?..." He kept muttering as he walked. He gulped down the knot in his throat. He held the railing as he felt his legs wiggle.
He shook his head, folding his lips as he forced himself up. He had to find her. Every second without her was a stab in his soul. He had searched for her, for days. He felt a part of him lose itself each time.
His steps slowed as his face fell. He saw a figure on the railings ahead. He shook his head, running closer. He slowed down, his eyes widening when he recognized it was Xie.
Xie heard footsteps and turned her head. She locked eyes with Zhanghao who looked at her with his widened eyes. She looked away from him and closed her eyes as she let go of the railings.
"Xie!"
Zhanghao yelled as he leaped over, holding one of her hand. "Xie!" He yelled looking down at her.
Xie flinched, opening her eyes as she looked back up to Zhanghao.Zhanghao gritted his teeth, grunting as he tried to support her. "What are you doing?!" He yelled, his tears falling down from his face.
"I'm..so tired" Xie muttered looking into Zhanghao's eyes. "I want to rest.."
Zhanghao shook his head. "Hold onto my arm tightly Xie— Help! Somebody help! Please!" He yelled.
"I'm..sorry Daddy. I haven't been the perfect daughter" Xie said, her eyes brimming with tears.
Zhanghao shook his head. "N-No, You're the best gift I've ever gotten"Xie shook her head as her tears fell down her face.
I've been so bad to you and dad..I'm sorry.."
Zhanghao shook his head. "Don't do this to me!
You're all I've got! P-Please!""Life has been bad to me daddy...what did I do to deserve this?..I can't take it anymore—
"Hold on tightly Xie! I'll save you- I must save you- we can move to another city-no country.. whatever you want- just please please don't-hold me–
"I ruined Ji Han's life and our family..this is all my fault" Xie said and Zhanghao shook his head, gritting his teeth as he felt his feet slide.
"Hold on tight Xie- I'm with you"
"Thank you Daddy...I don't think I've thanked you enough...this isn't your fault..–
"Shut up Xie! Stop breaking my heart! Stop! I- save you! Help!" Zhanghao yelled crying. Xie shook her head.
"This is what your hand feels like.. after this while, I can feel your warmth–
"N-No don't do do this to me- Xie- I'll die without you- please no-
"When I'm gone daddy, Please lay me at the park..I have someone to meet-
"Xie stop this-
"At least when I die, I can breathe easily..I'm sorry..." Xie muttered, reaching her other hand as she slipped her hand out of Zhanghao's hand.
"Xie!" Zhanghao yelled as Xie slipped out of his hand. "Xie!" He yelled looking at the splash of water.
He shook his head profusely as he raised his leg over the rail. He felt someone hold him from behind, pulling him over.
"112, y-yes there's a man trying to end his life at the Han river" The passerby said calling the emergency services. Other passersby ran when they saw the man trying to hold Zhanghao down.
"N-No..No! Let me go! My baby! She can't swim! Please- No- Xie! I'm coming!" Zhanghao yelled, shaking himself, trying to free himself.
"Please! She can't swim! Help..I have to..my baby..
Xie" Zhanghao blurted out as he felt his head spin, falling into a black void.-
Zhanghao slowly opened his eyes to the sounds of a monitor. He looked around, immediately wincing.
He squinted his eyes in pain, sitting up.He looked around and saw himself in a hospital room. "You're awake" He heard someone say. He turned his head and saw the doctor walk in.
She checked his vitals as Zhanghao cluelessly looked at her. "What..happened to me" He whispered, his throat aching.
The doctor turned and looked Zhanghao. She put up a small smile. "You fainted at the Han River bridge–
"Xie.." Zhanghao called, his eyes widening. He quickly got out of the bed, the doctor stopped him. "You've been calling out to this name as you were unconscious, crying. Is she perhaps.. your daughter?"
"I have to save her.. Xie" He muttered, yanking her hand off him. His eyes went out the window. His face fell when he saw the dark sky.
"A girl was brought in here, thirty minutes after you were brought in here—
"W-Where is she! Where?!" Zhanghao yelled shaking the doctor. The doctor sighed. "This way Mr. Sung"
She said walking out of the room with Zhanghao following behind."In here" She said gesturing to a door. Zhanghao hurriedly opened the door. His feet stopped as he looked at Hanbin who was on the floor crying.
He pulled his feet, walking towards the figure that was covered with a white cloth. Hanbin looked up when he heard his footsteps. He looked at Zhanghao, crying even more.
Zhanghao held his breath, slowly raising his hand up, his hand shaking as it got closer to the white cloth. He pulled the cloth and gasped loudly, his eyes shutting close as he fell to the floor.
He clenched his chest, feeling his breathing close in as he shook his head. "N-No..."
