Zhanghao rolled on his bed. He paused when he rolled to the other side. His eyes opened. He immediately sat up, looking around. He saw only himself in bed. He quickly got out of bed. "Hanbin.. Hanbin!" He yelled as he walked into the shower. He got out when he didn't see him.
"Hanbin!" He yelled as he got into the closet. He paused when he only saw his cloths. "Han..Hanbin!" He yelled, running out.
"Hanbin! Where are you!" He yelled running down the stairs. "Hanbin! Hanbin!"
Xie ran out of her room when she heard Zhanghao shouting. "Daddy! What's wrong? It's like five am, why are you shouting?" She asked holding Zhanghao's arms.
"Where's your father Xie? Where is he?!" Zhanghao yelled. Xie looked at his face as her hands slowly left Zhanghao's. She ran up the stairs, going into Zhanghao's room.
She looked around and didn't see him. She walked into their closet and saw the spaces that were there. She walked out. Stopping when her eyes caught a note on Zhanghao's dressing table.
She walked to the table, her hand picking the note.
-sorry, I'll call you when I arrive. She read it over again before squeezing the paper, running out of the room. She ran downstairs and saw Zhanghao still calling for him.
"Daddy" she called but Zhanghao kept calling for Hanbin, walking into the kitchen, Xie followed him as he walked back out.
"Daddy—
"Hanbin! Where are you?" He yelled again.
"Daddy!" Xie yelled holding Zhanghao's arms as he looked at him. Zhanghao's face twisted as his tears fell. "Where's he Xie?" He quietly asked as he fell on the floor.
"He really left Xie.." He muttered as he began to cry.
Xie sighed, hugging Zhanghao as she rubbed his back. "Stop crying Daddy." She muttered."Don't waste your tears on someone like him"
-
Ji Han kept quiet as he looked at Xie.
"I'm sorry Xie... You must be going through a lot right now" He said rubbing her back as he could equally relate to her.Xie kept quiet as she didn't want to cry. She was tired of crying. She had cried so much that no more tears could come out.
"It's fine.." she muttered with a small smile.
Ji Han sighed looking at her. He looked away looking at the road."I still wonder..."
"Why do parents have kids when they can't care for them?" He asked and looked back at Xie. Xie sighed and looked at the road. "I wonder too..."
"We didn't decide to be born, we just were and suddenly it's like we don't exist anymore" She muttered and sighed. Ji Han pursed his lips, placing his arm over Xie's shoulder.
"It's okay. Don't let it ruin your mood Xie" He said and Xie nodded as she sighed. "You're not alone. Okay?" He said rubbing her shoulder.
Xie nodded feeling her eyes begin to sting.
"That's life. Some days are fun, some days are not.
That doesn't mean you still shouldn't be grateful.
You have still have your dad with you, you have me.Don't let the failure of your past determine your future hm? You can still have fun like you want. You don't have to dwell on it.
Look at the bright side to everything. I know you're hurting Xie..." He said and wiped the tears that ran down her cheek.
"...but you're still here. All you have to do is put a smile on your face and everything will be alright. This too shall pass. I'm here. I'm always here.
No matter what happens, I'll be with you. We're friends right? You still haven't made me a master at riding a bicycle. We still haven't beat all the levels to our game. We still haven't gone to the beach to our satisfaction.
There're so many things to do Xie. Life doesn't end here. Life moves on" He said and held her hand.
"We'll pass this hurdle and see the brighter days ahead. Wipe your tears okay?" He said smiling.
Xie nodded as she quietly wiped her tears. They kept quiet, looking ahead them. She rubbed
Ji Han's hand. "I'm here for you too" She said and
Ji Han looked at her. A smile slowly came on his face."Thank you"
