"Don't make a ruckus here sir—
Zhanghao banged his hand on the desk, his brows furrowing in frustration.

"A child is missing! I'm sure you have a conscience!"
Zhanghao yelled. The policeman folded his lips sighing. He rubbed his head and took out a file.

"Sir you have to wait twenty-four hours–

Zhanghao scoffed in disbelief. "Are you even listening to me?..My child has been gone for a week!
A week! How many times must I come here before you do something?!"

The policeman sighed and closed the file.
"When you're ready to file a report, We'll talk"
He said, standing up from his chair.

Zhanghao looked at him in disbelief. He turned and looked around the police station, looking at the other officers.

"What the hell is wrong with you people?! Can't you hear me?! My daughter is missing for crying out loud!" Zhanghao yelled, panting as he looked at the unbothered officers in shock.

"I'm going to have to take you out Sir, Your behavior is not welcomed here–

"Get your hands off me!" Zhanghao yelled, yanking his hand out of the officer's hand. "Are you crazy?! Are you fucking kidding me?!" He yelled.

"My daughter..is missing. Can't you..Don't you understand?" He asked, his eyes beginning to sting.
"I haven't seen my child in a week, I come here everyday and I still get the same answer? Really?"

His attention moved when a door opened and an officer walked out, walking to him. "Fill this to file your report, We'll begin the search"

Zhanghao looked at the papers in the officer's hand and looked back at him. "Now you don't want to file a report?" The officer asked with an arched brow.

Zhanghao gritted his teeth, taking the papers out of his hand. "You all are lucky I'm not here to put up a fight." He said gritting his teeth as he looked at the officer who looked at him unfazed.

Ji Han's head was held low as he stared at the handcuffs hugging his hands. How could life turn around in a span of one night? Why did life fast foward before his eyes?

He looked up when he saw someone walk in.

Ji Woong's brows furrowed in worry as he got into the visiting room. He picked up the cell phone by the side, looking at Ji Han.

"Ji Han.." He called. Ji Han flashed him a smile, picking up the cellphone. "Uncle, how are you doing?" He asked. Ji Woong looked at Ji Han's smile and sighed.

"How can you even smile in a situation like this
Ji Han?" Ji Woong lowly asked in hurt. Ji Han shook his head chuckling.

"Ah don't worry about that Uncle. Your hair's growing out, you should have a haircut, that way your handsome face will be bright again"
Ji Han said with a grin.

Ji Woong didn't say anything as he looked at Ji Han's depressing appearance. He rubbed his forehead sighing.

"Ji Han, I know you didn't do this."

Ji Han's smile wavered, he smiled yet again.
"I did Uncle.."

Ji Woong shook his head. "You're my nephew Ji Han, there's nothing I don't know about you. You may be stubborn, noisy, naughty... you also are a terrible liar"

Ji Han's smile slowly fell off his face. Ji Woong saw that and sighed as he brushed his hair backwards.
"I'll get you out of here, I promise. Who ever did this will pay for it–

"Uncle–

"You know my friend Matthew right? He'll handle your case. I'll make sure you win. The court hearing is until next week, just..just endure for now, okay?"

Ji Han sighed. "Uncle... can I ask you a favor?"

Ji Woong gripped the cell phone as he looked at
Ji Han nodding.

Ji Han stared at him for some seconds before a bitter smile came on his face. "Can you..let me lie this time?"

Ji Woong's face fell by his words. "So..is it..Xie—
Are you stupid Ji Han?! Taking the fall for something you didn't do—

"You always teased me for being a terrible liar. You didn't let me stay over after school as my punishment." he said and chuckled.

"I'm sorry Uncle..you hate lies. I know but... I really need this now. I can bear this. I promised to protect this person to death. Please...don't ruin this for me" He said and looked at Ji Woong.

"Take care of yourself Uncle–

"Ji Han!" Ji Woong yelled as he watched Ji Han drop the cellphone, standing up.

Ji Han turned to leave but stopped. He clenched his fists and turned back, grabbing the cellphone.
"Where's..father?" He asked and Ji Woong sighed.

"I don't know. I've been trying to contact him but.." Ji Woong said and shook his head. Ji Han bitterly smiled. "Does his know about this?"

"I don't know Ji Han" Ji Woong said and Ji Han nodded. "You know, I'll be partially relieved if he finds out. Finally, a reason. A reason for him to hate me" He said smiling.

"Hanbin does not hate you Ji Han" he said and
Ji han shook his head.

"I don't care about that anymore uncle. I'm just relieved that now, I can hold onto this as a reason.. back then I didn't have any. I wondered and thought, but nothing. Finally..."

Ji Woong looked at the smile on Ji Han's face as he spoke. "I'm really happy now Uncle. There's nothing I could ask of. So don't... don't try and get me out"
He said standing up.

"I love you uncle, thanks for being there for me.
We'll have a nice meal when I get out.. if I do"
He said and flashed him a smile before keeping the cell phone.

He immediately turned around, avoiding the hurt expression on Ji Woong's face as his heart clenched, his eyes stinging. He clenched his fists, walking out of the visiting room with the officer.

Ji Woong slowly dropped the cellphone. "Ji Han.."
