Zhanghao rolled on the bed, hugging himself. His eyes slowly opened, he immediately squinted his eyes when the sun rays hit his eyes. He turned around on the bed, facing the other way as he closed his eyes back. His brows twitched.
My windows don't look like that
His eyes immediately shut open as he sat up. His eyes traveling round the room. He felt his heart drop when he saw the unfamiliar room.
He quickly looked around, looking for his phone.
"Hao?" He froze when he heard Ji Woong's voice.
Ji Woong walked into the room with a food tray, he stopped when he saw Zhanghao awake."You're awake. How was your sleep? If you're still tired you can sleep some more" Ji Woong said as he placed the food tray on the table, moving to the bed as he softly laid a peck on Zhanghao's cheek.
Zhanghao immediately felt shivers down his spine when he saw Ji Woong in a robe. Last night's event came flooding his memory.
An amused smile came on Ji Woong's face as he saw Zhanghao slowly raise the covers, looking under.
"I cleaned you last night and changed you-
Ji Woong stopped talking when he saw the colour drain out of his face."Is something wrong hao?"
Zhanghao blinked. His hand still holding the covers in shock. "My god.." he muttered.
"Hao?"
It was as if he had gone deaf to Ji Woong. His head was in a bag of trapped thoughts. He quickly pulled the covers over, sitting up.
"I- I have to go" He quickly said and immediately stood up. He felt his legs give up as he stood up, Ji Woong quickly held him and he flinched, moving away from him.
"I bought some painkillers—
"My phone, where's my phone?" Zhanghao muttered, looking around, ignoring the throbbing pain he felt on his behind.
Ji Woong grabbed Zhanghao's phone from the nightstand and gave it to him. "I have to go—
"Wait, have a meal at least. You can't leave in this condition" Ji Woong worriedly said but it was as if Zhanghao wasn't listening to him as he looked for his clothes.
"Where are my clothes?" He asked, still looking around. "I-..They're in the laundry. You can wear this—
Ji Woong couldn't finish his words as Zhanghao snatched the clothes in his hands, quickly putting them on. He grabbed his car key and phone, scurrying out of the suite.
"Hao!"
-
Zhanghao parked his car, rushing into the house.
"Xie?..Xie?!" He yelled as soon as he got in.He quickly climbed up the stairs, walking to Xie's room. He opened the door only to see Xie on her bed watching videos.
"Xie.." Zhanghao called and Xie dropped her phone as she saw Zhanghao standing by the door.
"Daddy.." Zhanghao quickly walked to her, hugging her tightly. "My gosh- my baby, I'm so sorry, I couldn't come home last night, you must have been so worried sleeping without me last night"
Xie rubbed Zhanghao's back. "Relax Daddy, I had a feeling you wouldn't come back as you left pretty late. I'm okay though, I had dinner with Somin unnie"
Zhanghao sighed as he rubbed her head.
"Did you have fun? Duh, You must have, considering you coming back now" Xie said chuckling.Zhanghao's face fell. "I..yeah.- I had fun" he said, putting up a smile. Xie's brows furrowed as her eyes went to Zhanghao's clothes.
"These aren't your clothes" She pointed out, making Zhanghao look at the clothes he wore. Only then he realized that they weren't his fitting and obviously not what he would wear on a normal.
"My clothes got soiled..I spilled my wine so I got this" Zhanghao said and Xie nodded looking at the cloth. "You smell..different. Did you wear a different perfume? Oh you must have taken your friend's perfume. Right?"
Zhanghao opened his mouth and closed it back.
"Uh- y-yeah." He said and Xie just nodded."I uhm..I need to check somethings. I'll be in my room" Zhanghao said, standing up from her bed.
"Alright." Xie said and rolled on her bed as she continued to watch videos.Zhanghao closed the door to this room. He gulped, feeling his heart pound loudly against his chest.
His shaking hand took out his phone. He scrolled through his contacts."Chenle...come over"
-
Chenle kept quiet as he looked at Zhanghao who was on his bed hugging his knees. He sighed again and brushed his hair back.
"I honestly don't see why you called me"
He said and Zhanghao looked up at him."What did I tell you the last time I came over? Hm?
Have you forgotten? Just incase you did, I said.."
Chenle said and moved closer."It's not cheating if there are no feelings—
"Stop Chenle. Stop. I'm sure you wouldn't do this to Jisung. Just stop.." Zhanghao said as he ruffled his hair. Chenle sighed and clicked his tongue.
"You're making it sound like a big deal. So what? You spent a night with Ji Woong. So? You're not at fault here Hao. Don't you see? If Hanbin didn't decide to work far away, you wouldn't have succumbed to your flesh"
Zhanghao wiped his tears as he shook his head.
"It's too hard to believe your words Chenle. As much as I want to.. I can't"Chenle pursed his lips as he ruffled his hair.
"Look Hao. Did you enjoy it?" He asked and Zhanghao's head fell into his hands."T-That's why I feel this sick Chenle.."
He said and looked up. "I hate that I enjoyed every second of it."Chenle clapped his hands. "That proves my point Hao. Hanbin's to blame here. You're an adult, you have your needs. It's nothing for you to satisfy it elsewhere"
"Look" He said and held Zhanghao's hand.
"If it was that Hanbin was around and you slept with Ji Woong, then that's a different thing. Hanbin's away and you're all alone. You're just satisfying yourself, it's not like you think Hao"
Zhanghao wiped his tears. "W-What of Xie?"
"Xie? She's a kid for a reason. This is your matter Hao. An adult's matter. She doesn't need to be in your business."
"But..I feel so bad lying to her. I never lie to her Chenle–
"You're not lying. You're keeping her out of your business. Do you want her to know of how lonely you are?" Chenle asked and Zhanghao thought of the night he overheard Xie crying to Hanbin because of him.
He quickly shook his head and Chenle patted his hand sighing. "That's it. She's a kid to be knowing of your struggles. I'm sure you don't want to worry her.
Just keep doing what makes you happy."Zhanghao looked away from Chenle as Xie's words played in his mind.
"If your friend makes you happy Daddy, I want you to keep hanging out with him"
