Starting the morning with an alarm ringing is not something Josephine wanted to welcome any sooner but had to since she got admitted to her new school. Getting late for lectures isn't fun because that drives a lot of attention to you and worst of all the lecturer making fun of your appearance and congratulating you for coming late like you've won an award from an important nomination,deciding to avoid all this embrassment she decided to start her morning early by setting and alarm at thirty minutes past five since her first lectures will begin today at eight am.
Wearing a silky sky blue top, a black ironed thigh length skirt with a pair of black sandals,holding her waist length hair into a pony tail and applied a small amount of lip gloss she was all set. As usual transportation wasn't a pleasing one, stuck in a traffic for a whole twenty minutes can differently give you road rage but surpressing emotions are some good qualities of an introvert hence she keep quiet till she got to the main entrance of the school.
"Bennie are you in? " she asked through a call.
"Yh I'm waiting for you at the fountain but hurry because we have just thirty minutes left" Bennie answered.
"Ok what's your attire?" Jossy asked.
"I'm wearing the ice hokey jersey and black baggy jeans on your left of the fountain" She answered.
"Ok I've seen you" Jossy said spotting Bennie at the exact place ending the call.
"You look nice. Let's go then" Bennie said.
After two hours of intense lecturing and talks from their respective lectures. They finally had a break and headed straight to the cafeteria three blocks ways located on the right from the health department office. Inhaling the scents of the dishes prepared their mouth became watery and the most difficult part was picking which of the foods to dig in but after a minute of contemplating Jossy chose a plate of rice with pasta and sauce and Bennie just went with noodles.
"Ok now this tastes good"Bennie said savoring the taste.
"I agree with food is amazing it just doesn't look nice but taste sweet too" Jossy added.
"So how was the lectures" Bennie asked continuing with her food.
"It was cool tho I spoke to a girl beside me she's called Cassandra" Jossy answered.
"Ok that's fine well I didn't talk to anyone you know" Bennie said shrugging.
"Yh i know but loosen up a bit" Jossy spoke and Bennie just hummed to it.
"There's going to be some inter halls sports starting from Wednesday I guess that's what I saw in the group chat" Bennie stated.
"Oh really that's going to be fun can't wait" Jossy said excited.
"Yh me too" Bennie added.

Arrangements were made in place for the inter halls sports. Each halls held meetings to select athletes from all sports categories ensuring they were all set for the games and the prices attached to it. All athletes had it on their shoulders to give their best and in other to be scouted by professionals and ensure a good possibility of joining a local, national or international team. Gearing up, practicing and fitness is very essential.
"Are we all excited to give our best this year too?" Vice Chancellor asked the congregation and loud vibration from all the noise making was heard from the student body.
"That's good then let's all start today's events and games. Give your all and may the best athletes win" She added.
Sporting games from handball, volleyball and long tennis took place at their respective courts and were the effortlessly arranged to perfection.
"Should move to the basketball court and see what's happening there?" Jossy asked Bennie who was focused on the current tennis match between her hall and their rival.
"Oh that's a long shot damn forty all" she said not paying attention to what Jossy said.
"Bennie are you listening I said let's go to the basketball court" Jossy said louder this time in her ears.
"Goddamn why would you shout like that? Basketball? OK let's go,I'm losing all hopes in this match we might just loose" Bennie said getting up from her seat with Jossy following.
Heading towards the basketball court was not easy, Bennie had to stop at almost all the other games that was held on their way with a frustrated Jossy pulling her by her hoodie.
"Oh it's the Gordon hall vs Livingstone hall" Bennie said looking at the Score board.
"Yh let's find a seat. I can't stand and it's only the first quarter" Jossy stated taking look around for an empty space.
"oh I've found some,there" Bennie said pointing the direction.
"Alright let's go. Oh that's a very long shot. That guy is good and he's wearing number thirty as in Curry or what" Jossy said smiling looking at the guy from the center of the court.
"Yh that's cool tho and from the three point line too" Bennie added shocked.
"Oh shit Bennie look look" Jossy said tapping Bennie repeatedly by her shoulder.
"What is it now"? Bennie asked her lazily and fed up.
"Who's that I can't believe my eyes?" Jossy asked shocked than she's ever been.
"Isn't that the guy from our High school. What? How? Oh my gosh" Bennie asked stammering.
"This is crazy. I thought I won't see him again and here he is shining in all his glory my goodness." Jossy said lost in her thoughts.
"Well well with all this cheering I guess he's really porpular amongst the girls" Bennie said looking at the number of girls shouting on top of their lungs.
"My long time crush. This is crazy is life playing a trick on me or what" Jossy said absentmindedly while looking at him.
"Let's get out of here you need some fresh air I feel like you're suffocating" Bennie said pulling her out of her thoughts.
"You must be out of your mind" Jossy said laughing.

All games for today ended and their halls won the handball and long tennis which Bennie really found out later and was really surprised has to how that happened. Gordon hall from which Jossy's long time crush was in won their basketball game with ten points lead.
Having a long but blissful day was enough for them but they had to wait for a long time for their bus to pick them from the station and that was stressful than ever hence they ended up ordering for a ride home.
Josephine got home a little late than usual because of the heavy traffic,heading straight to her room and taking a bath she came out with a towel on her head with wet hair and water dropping onto her shoulders and the floor.
She continued to think about her crush whom she almost forgot about but couldn't help it now that she has seen him again after a year and in the same school for that matter.
