"Did you get any information from her?" She asked her.
"No I didn't. She just won't answer any of my questions".Cassandra replied.
"Do everything and anything to let her talk. I want to find out what's going on between the two of them" the girl growled strongly hitting her hand on the table.
"Alright I will but don't forget about our deal. Just a reminder." Cassandra snarled.
"She can't take what belongs to me" the girl said before leaving causing a huge shake in the walls due to the extensive collision of the door and the frame.
Cassandra had never seen her eyes flaring and redenned with rage and constantly clenching her fist when she broke the news to her.
She covered her ears to avoid any damage from the piercing and high pitched scream coming from her throat using all her strength. She was indeed a psychopath.
She knew she shouldn't have associated with her but she was already in it and there's no backing out but how could she be a sell out to someone who saw her has a friend.
Even though she knew Bennie was or is still suspicious about her, she'd play cool and act as the good friend just because of her selfish needs.
She'll regret it if this news ever get out but they won't right unless someone finds out right?~~~
I saw Cassandra after first lestures today which was quiet unusual about her. She won't miss studying for any reason unless she decided to.
I noticed she was acting weird and I caught her staring at me a few times, when I did ask her what's wrong she just answered with a unconvinced 'nothing'. I decided to ignore it and focus on my notes.
Recalling the message from yesterday, I finally decided to reply the message that he sent to me. He won't reply now right? He might be studying.
I placed my phone on my desk with the screen turned down to avoid any distraction,but a notification sound drew my attention back to it which made me surprised that he replied that fast.Him:Josephine?
Me:Yh Sorry about yesterday.
Him:I wanted to ask why you run off like that.
Me:I was going out with me friends.
Him:I thought you deliberately did that.
Me:Oh no.
Him:what bout the lab scene?
Me:I wasn't in a very good mood and I didn't want to lash it out on you. sorry.
Him:so we cool now right?
Me:Yh Sure. Let's talk later my lecturer is in.
Him:Alright.
He thought I was angry with him. Well that's funny because we're not even close enough and how did he find my account. I'll have to ask him that later on.
Well I was really drained from all the movements today. Lectures were hectic. A lot of experiments, notes and some brain racking assignments.
I lazily picked my materials and bags as my trembled beneath me, my shoulders were slumped and almond shaped eyes were now looking like siren eyes because I hardly ate anything today. This is why I hate Wednesdays.
I rose up hands above my head and stretched my body and craned my neck closer to my shoulder popping out a crack as I did for both sides.
I saw Cassandra stepping out of the lecturing hall with some other girls. She was literally quiet today or should I say mute but I didn't really care so I called Bennie to pick me up at the department instead because I wouldn't be able to handle more than hundreds steps in my ghost stage.
What an amazing friend I have. Well she's a devil in disguise but we're the same that's it I guess. She asked me why I looked disheveled and why my face was pale and eyes so dead. It was written all over her face that she was concerned.
Should I prepare for a funeral? She asked. I swore I would have smacked the hell out of her if not that moving another muscle will increase my stress rate.
I couldn't answer any of those questions because I literally slept through out the whole drive. She shook me by my arm telling me to wake up few minutes after arriving at the entrance of my cream painted story building with glass windows covered with white cleaned curtains and a black gate. Our neighbors normally referred to our house as the white house.
My words slurred, thought foggy like a mind shrouded in mist as I spoke to my mom I decided to get some sleep as my eyes were threatening to close but moved my drained body to the hall and practically threw my body on the sofa when I though about the stairs that lead to my room.
I guess I didn't have enough rest after roaming around endlessly with my best friends yesterday and had to leave early for school at thirty minutes past seven.
Somehow my brain just couldn't shut down because I was so stressed like it had it's own motive. It kept talking to whom or what I have no idea about and that forced me to wake up from that short nap.
My stomach growled loudly signaling me that nothing much has been taken into it. I rubbed my eyes and stretched before walking to the kitchen to get something to eat. I filled my stomach with jollof rice and gulped down some juice through my throat and bent down to pick my bag that slipped through my fingers the moment after I got inside.
I collapsed onto the mattress, my limbs heavy with fatigue and let out a deep sigh after I decided not to take my bath and go straight to bed but then realized that I walked a lot today plus I needed to relaxed my tighten muscles and wash my hair to release some stress of me.
~~~
I indeed had a good sleep with my muscles and limbs relaxed, I stretched out, got dressed and left in a bright and smiley mood for today.
I clocked in school at few minutes before eleven because lectures were scheduled for thirty minutes before twelve. That's because I called my driver well not my personal driver but you know. She'll kill me if she hears this. That's our secret.
"Watch where you going"!! This unknown girl pushed pass me. OK wow the attitude.
Who's she? And her problem with me? I thought.
