Chapter 6

Jossy's POV

How is this possible? I thought I could just get over him after all it's been a year but just how my little sensitive heart could ever be, had to start beating out of nowhere and most of all he looked so handsome and I guess he has increased in height  than I recall probably around six feet now from where I was seated I could tell.
That look after hitting the buzzer was a look to die for I mean he was shining and his eyes were vibrant and shimmering from all the smiles he has on his face with the bold looks and his new hairstyle. It's like he new what I want with that undercut with the curls on top but we'll in reality he doesn't even know me.

Sincerely, don't think I stand a chance with all those girls and he won't even remember that he bumped into me at a certain point in his life or even spoke to me. How it hurts when you want to be spotted so bad but then it's like you just don't exist in the other person's world more like multiverse of love.
What am I even talking about?

I should probably get out of my feelings and find something better to do and that will be my assignment well that's what is important as a student and not to be crushing on someone who doesn't even know you or better still doesn't even recognize you.

"Who's that calling? Can't I be left alone?" I said grunting while getting up from my bed to answer the call.

"Hello"the person said from the other end.

" Yh who's this? "Jossy asked without checking the caller ID.

" What do you mean who's this. Are you OK butthead" Lili said raising her voice at the end of her sentence.

"Oops my bad. I'm not with my glasses" I said making an excuse.

"If you say so anyways how are you doing" Lili asked her.

"I'm good just tired" I answered.

"Mmm" Lili said not expecting that answer.

"Yh I've got got works to do" I told her.

"Ok" Lili answered shortly.

"Why are your words OK and mmm. That's not really you." I asked her curiously.

"Ok so Bennie told me that you saw him today so I was just you know asking about how you're feeling" Lili six thoughtfully.

"That girl can't just keep her mouth shut. I'm.. I'm ok i thought I'd forgotten about him but I guess no." I finally told her.

"I get you anyways don't think about it too much OK? I'll leave you to continue whatever you were doing bye." Lili said to her.

"Ok thanks babe. See ya bye" Jossy said and hanged up.

"I believe Bennie has told Rach about it too. Damn this girl" I said smiling before starting my assignment and heading straight to bed.

Usual routine but with different clothes and hairstyles, meeting up with my best friend and going to lectures can't get any worst than just one person taking almost half of your brain and causing symptoms closer to brain malfunction and casually spotting him around like he owns the school. I'm starting to get annoyed at how he could just show up at anywhere and always in my view with his masculine features that pink lips with a curve at both sides. It's just not right that I memorized all his facial features with constantly glancing at him from library to cafeteria and some meetings.

"Are you listening to what I'm saying at all?" Bennie asked snapping her middle finger and thump together just in front of my face.

"Huh what did you say?" I asked looking at her with eyebrows up.

"Nothing. What were you think about?" Bennie asked her projecting her head forward for an answer.

"Nothing serious" She answered shrugging.
