A girl was running around her house to hide from the terror of fruits. Really she hated fruits specially apples with a passion. "Mum please na aj nai, ami kalke khe nebo (I'll have it tomorrow)" said a panting Khushi. "No mishti, you never eat your fruits. Every day you feed them to your friends. I don't trust you. You will have it right now and in front of me" Ahana said sternly. Khushi can't bear the sight of those dreadful apples. "Mishti, world mei kitne logo ko khana nai milta and you are lucky you are getting nutritious food. Isse nai khaogi na then khane ka anadar (disrespect) hoga" Ahana explained in a firm but soft voice.
"Okay I'll have it. You know I don't waste food ever. Wo toh this apple was anyway ap aj school jarhi ho?" asked Khushi. "Ha aj toh bohot important day hai. Aj father and child day hai school mei" Ahana said. "Oh" Khushi exclaimed. Ahana could see that her daughter her mishti was upset. This is the one thing she can't give her right now. She wants her daughter to be able to be with her family. Her dad. Her brothers. But for now Ahana is all she has. And she's going to protect her always.
"Are mum kaha kho gyi ap? Anyways I have to go to college or else DG ma'am will kill me ugh" Khushi huffed. "Okay okay go but have you taken every thing your purse?" Ahana asked Khushi as she knew mishti will definitely forget it. " Oh shi I mean oh geez thank you mum you are the best byee" Khushi said as she hugged Ahana and ran away because she knew if Ahana catches her then her poor ear will be red. No no. This can't happen.

Staff were roaming around in Roy Kapoor mansion hurriedly. "Aree jaldi karo abhi agar bade baba aagye or table set nai dekha na toh humari job toh gyi" a staff screamed as he was worried that his boss would arrive any moment. On the other hand, a man in his mid twenties was ascending the staircase. "Shambhu Kaka Kairu aur Kavu uthe ki nai?" asked the man. "Wo bade baba manjhle (middle) baba toh jogging ke liye gye hai or chote baba abhi tak kamre se nikle nai hai" said an anxious Shambhu. He knew his boss would lose it any moment. He prayed for his chote baba. This terrifying man was none other than Kartik Roy Kapoor.
Kartik headed towards his youngest brother's room. He was lying on the bed like a starfish with his hands and legs flying every where. He spoke in a stern voice "Kairav utho 9 baj chuke hai". "Bhai kya hai yaar sone do na. Kal bhi bohot late se soya tha" a sleepy Kairav replied. What he failed to notice was that this was not his Bhai but his Bhaiya. "Kairav Roy Kapoor get up this instant or else" Kartik's voice boomed. He didn't finish his threat but it worked like a charm. Kairav woke up with a startle and as a result fell down from the bed. "Oh god bhaiya ap yaha kya krrhe hai?" asked a groaning Kairav. "Tumhe utharhe hai. Get ready and come downstairs in 10 mins or else say goodbye to your car keys and bike keys for next three months" Kartik said as he moved out of the room. Kairav knew his oldest brother's threat cannot be taken lightly and bolted towards his washroom.
"Good Morning Bhai" Kavin as said as he just came back from jogging. Jogging was like a mood refresher for him. It helped him calm down and gather his thoughts. "Good morning Kavu" Kartik replied while reading the newspaper. "Kairu kaha h-" "Hume yaad kiya or hum hazir" said Kairav as he entered the dining hall. "Aaiye aaiye nawab sahab kaha the ap?" Kavin asked him sarcastically. "Bhai yaar subah subah Bhaiya ne bohot data. Or you know unki wajase mei gir bhi gya" sulked Kairav. "Ji nahi. Ap gire apki laparwahi (carelessness) ki wajase" Kairav casually remarked. "Accha chalo breakfast karlo dekho aj Bhai ne tumhare favourite paneer ke paranthe banae hai" Kavin distracted Kairav. As he knew if he continued cribbing he will get it from his brother. And no matter how much he was entertaining him, he can't throw his kairu infront of a hungry lion.
The brothers continued with their breakfast. Kartik cleared his throat to get his brothers' attention. "Papa aj shamko wapas aarhe hai London se" he said. "Par kyu? Teen mahino se toh wapas aye nai ab kyu?" Kairav replied whereas Kavin stiffened. He got up to go. "Kavu breakfast finish kar" Kartik said firmly as he saw him leaving. "Bhai please ap rakh dijiye mujhe office jana hai. I'll eat it after I come back" he said as prepared to leave. "Kavin finish karo" Kartik repeated. "Please Bhai aj nai" Kavin left as he said it. He saw Kairav staring blankly at his plate. He could see his brothers were hurting but he couldn't do anything. Only if he did some thing that night.
