Author's Note - Guys my characters aren't flawless, they have flaws and that's what makes them relatable. So please when you read the chapter ahead, keep that in mind. As I will not tolerate any hate comments regarding that. I know somethings won't be likeable for all, and I agree but it is necessary for the plot and I repeat it is fiction. Survivors of these incidents are very strong and they aren't responsible for what happened to them. I don't support blaming the survivors but in this story it is necessary as it will show character development and it will be necessary for the plot.

Those who say the ones who smiles the brightest are the ones who hides their pain the most. We don't really know what goes in someone's life, they might be happy and smiling but on the inside they are broken.

Khushi knew Karan was right but she didn't want to tell anyone, didn't want anyone to see her the way she actually is - broken beyond repair. She can't show her ugly side to anyone, people can only see her bright happy side. That's the reason she's distancing herself from every one. They won't understand what she went through.

How will she expect people to love her when she hates herself? She can't break down her walls which she tried so hard to build. She needs to protect her people as she can't see anyone break just like her.

She is destined to be alone and she has made peace with it. Earlier when she met her brothers, she was content for sometime. But then again her fate called and reminded her that all of this is temporary. She doesn't know how long she will be able to take it.

And that's how she found herself on a cliff, she knew her team would be tracking her and that's why she turned all her devices off so that no one can trace her. She needed to be away from everyone.

"Mum dekho na aapki beti kitni weak hai" she let out a weak chuckle, "Na hi wo khudko bacha payi aur na hi kisi aur ko. Aapne mera naam Khushi kyu rakha, mere life mei toh koi Khushi hai hi nai." She was staring at the night sky which was scattered with stars which shined like diamonds.

"Pta hai aj mere pas wo sab hai jo meri khwahish thi. Par dekho na I can't even enjoy it. Kya karu mai maa?" tears started pouring out of her eyes. "Jin bhaiyo ke chehre par hansi lani thi, unpar toh maine aansu la diye. I can't do this anymore mum. Please take me with you. Apne kaha tha ki ap mujhe kabhi akela nai choroge! You broke your promise" she started wailing.

She does not know how to live anymore, it's getting harder day by day. That one night snatched everything from her. What was her fault?

This is how she spent her night at the cliff. Sunrays peeked at her and she softly opened her eyes. She found herself amidst nature. She took a deep breath as everything from last night came crashing down on her. She wasn't ready to talk to anyone but she had to. She needed to do it so that she gets her revenge and protect her loved ones.

She got up and switched on her phone, and saw many missed calls from her team. Some from her brothers and one was from someone who she didn't expect it from.

It's okay, I never play fair. Though it will be an interesting match with you, love ;)

The word 'love' did something weird to her stomach. She felt weird sensation like butterflies there. She shook her head to remove any unwarranted feelings.

She quickly replied to the group chat of her team informing that she will be in the headquarters in two hours. Then she started drive and it took her half an hour to reach her home. She had a long day ahead of her so she took a deep breath and went inside.

There she came face to face with a comical scene, Kairav was running for his life and Kavin was running behind him with slippers in his hand. She cocked her head to the side, and looked at the scene.
