Jeonghan felt the first blow land square in his stomach, knocking the wind out of him. He doubled over in pain, gasping for breath, and more blows quickly followed. The men were mercilessly beating him, their faces cold and emotionless.

Jeonghan tried to fight back, but each time he lashed out, another blow would send him reeling. He stumbled to his knees, his body battered and bruised, but he refused to give in. He couldn't go down without a fight, not when Haneul was counting on him.

He forced himself up, gritting his teeth against the pain, and threw another punch. It connected with one of the men's jaws, but they simply laughed and retaliated with a swift kick to his ribs.

Jeonghan grunted in pain, feeling the crack of his ribs as the blow landed. His vision was starting to blur, but he kept fighting, adrenaline and anger fueling him to keep going.

He managed to land a couple more flailing punches, but it was clear that he was no match for the men surrounding him. They easily dodged his wild swings, before landing more powerful blows that sent him sprawling to the ground.

Jeonghan hit the ground hard, his body wracked with pain. He lay there, dazed and disoriented, his mind reeling from the brutal beating he had just endured.

He could hardly move, his body screaming at him to just give up and rest. But Jeonghan's determination refused to let him give in. Haneul's face flashed through his mind, and he struggled to push himself up off the ground.

He got back on his knees, his head spinning and his body protesting every movement. But he refused to give up. He had to get to Haneul, no matter the cost.

Jeonghan's legs buckled under his weight, and he collapsed back to the ground with a thud. His body was weak and battered, and he could feel every bruise and cut that littered his skin.

Jeonghan's head was swimming, the pain and exhaustion making it difficult to focus. His thoughts were hazy and muddled, and it was a struggle to keep his eyes open. The world around him seemed to spin, and he felt himself slipping in and out of consciousness.

He tried to push himself up again, but his limbs refused to cooperate. Everything hurt, and he couldn't seem to find the strength to move. He lay there on the ground, barely aware of what was happening around him.

The voices of the men surrounding him were distant and echoing in his ears, as if they were far away. Jeonghan fought to stay conscious, but it was becoming harder and harder with each passing moment.

Black spots danced in his vision, and he felt himself slipping further and further into unconsciousness. The pain and exhaustion were too much, and his body was giving out on him.

The sound of gunshots nearby snapped Jeonghan back to reality temporarily. His mind latched onto the sound, and he tried to focus his eyes in the direction it had come from.

Seungcheol stood at the edge of the shadows, watching and waiting for the right turn as the men surrounding Jeonghan mercilessly beating him. His heart was racing, and his fists clenched with anger. He couldn't stand by and watch any longer.

Seungcheol gestured to his members, signaling that it was time to act. They leaped into action, their guns raised and ready. The sound of bullets flying filled the air as they shot at the men surrounding Jeonghan.

The men scattered, ducking and running for cover as they were caught off guard. Seungcheol's members advanced, quickly and efficiently dealing with the threat. They were trained for situations like this, and they moved as a cohesive unit.

Within moments, the men were either killed or incapacitated, and Jeonghan was left lying on the ground alone. Seungcheol rushed over to him, dropping to his knees by his side.
