Kyun snarled, his rage boiling over. “You think you can stop me?” he shouted, gesturing to his remaining men. “You’re nothing.”

But the woman remained calm, her gaze never leaving Kyun as she leveled her gun at him with an eerie precision.

“I’m not here for you.” she replied coldly, her voice unwavering. “You're beneath me.”

Kyun’s eyes narrowed in disbelief. “Then who—”

“I’m here for him.” she said, her finger pointing directly at Jeonghan.

Everything froze for a heartbeat. Jeonghan felt the weight of her words sink in, his mind struggling to piece together the fragmented reality of this situation. Was she an ally or a new threat?

Seungcheol’s labored breathing tugged Jeonghan back to the moment. The urgency of his lover's condition pressed at him.

The woman spoke again, her voice cutting through the tension. “Go. I’ll cover you.”

Jeonghan hesitated for a split second, torn between the mission and Seungcheol’s life. But the woman’s command was sharp, her gaze full of unspoken resolve.

With a final glance at Seungcheol, who nodded with pained determination despite his condition, Jeonghan surged forward. His gun was already in his hand, ready to strike. The chaotic sound of gunfire and explosions filled his ears, but his focus remained locked on Kyun. This needed to end now.

Just as Jeonghan was closing in, another sharp crack echoed through the air. Another shot rang out from the woman’s position. One of Kyun’s men dropped instantly, the shot landing with deadly precision. The woman was picking them off one by one, her aim flawless as she took down Kyun's forces with ruthless efficiency.

Kyun’s men scattered, confusion taking hold as they tried to regroup. But it was already too late. The woman moved like a specter, her gun blazing as she finished off the remaining members of Kyun's team. Each shot was perfectly placed, the sound of the bodies hitting the ground punctuating the deadly silence that followed.

Jeonghan stood in stunned disbelief as the battlefield began to quiet. He had expected a brutal showdown, a long battle, but instead, the masked woman had decimated Kyun’s entire force with an almost chilling precision.

Kyun, now alone on the platform, looked around in panic, his face contorted in shock and rage. His hands trembled, and his expression shifted to one of pure desperation.

Jeonghan had no words. His mouth hung open as he stood, unable to process what had just transpired. The woman’s movements had been so fast, so deliberate, he couldn’t fully comprehend the speed and efficiency with which she had wiped out Kyun’s men.

With the last of his forces gone, Kyun was left standing on the platform, his eyes wild with fear. His body trembled, but it was clear he was done. The fight had already left him, even though his mouth still cursed and spat, his last words choked by his panic.

The woman lowered her weapon, her gaze meeting Jeonghan’s for a fleeting moment. Her mask hid any emotion, but the coldness of her presence lingered like a storm cloud.

Kyun didn’t even get the chance to speak again. The woman fired one last shot, and Kyun collapsed in an instant, his body crumpling to the floor, lifeless.

Jeonghan’s heart pounded in his chest. He couldn’t believe what he had just witnessed. The woman had not only saved them but had finished what they’d started, wiping out Kyun’s entire team before they could even react. The field fell into an eerie silence, broken only by the distant echo of fading gunfire.
