Ellie stormed up the stairs of Auradon Prep.
She was happy for Jane, truly, but why did Mal have to feed into Jane's insecurities?

Ellie wanted to scream at Mal, tell her what she thought of her, but she knew that there was no point in it.
Mal was a villain, and sooner or later, she would be gone again.
Also, she promised Ben to be nice to them and that he developed feelings for said girl, didn't help the situation.

So Ellie swallowed down her anger and stomped her way over to her room.

On her way over, she ran into Chad.
Great! As if the day wasn't bad enough.

"Oh, hey Ellie!" he greeted her.
Ellie put on a forced smile.

"Hey, Chad."
She almost thought that was it - and she had really hoped so - when Chad turned around again.

"You're the babysitter of the vk's, right?"
Ellie furrowed her eyebrows. Why did he ask that?

"Yes?" Ellie eyed him in suspicion.
"Why?" she asked slowly and took a few steps back towards him.
Chad smirked.

"I know something you don't." he said in a sing-sang voice. Ellie squinted her eyes at him.

"And what would that be?" Ellie asked him, annoyed. She didn't want him to know that he actually got her attention.
Ellie crossed her arm before her chest.

"They are bad." Chad whispered to her.
Ellie looked at him in disbelief.

"Yeah, they are the vk's." Ellie said un a 'duh' voice and shook her head. Chad is really lacking some braincells.

"No, you don't understand. Evie is cheating in class with her magic mirror." Chad had leaned forward and had this mischievous glint in his eyes.

"Wow, Chad, that's really bad." Ellie said sarcastically and rolled her eyes.

"I know, right."
Ellie sighed. Was he really that dense?

"Chad, you would do just the same."
Chad chuckled at that while Ellie started walking away. This conversation was too tiring.
Chad started following her.

"Yeah... but they're bad. Villains!"
Ellie glanced at him from the side.

"You're a hypocrite, Chad."
"A hypo - what?" he stuttered as he tried to repeat the word.

"Forget it, Chad." She said as she continued her way down the hall.

"But we have to do something!" he called out.

"No, we don't. This problem will solve itself."
'And your plan wouldn't work out anyway.' Ellie wanted to add but stayed silent.

Chad stopped walking and stomped his foot. He reminded Ellie of a toddler. But she didn't acknowledge it and left Chad behind.

Even though Chad annoyed her, he still got her attention. Evie had a magic mirror, and Ellie was determined to figure out why she would need it. Especially in Auradon.

Finally, Ellie was back at her dorm room.
She let herself fall dramatically down onto her bed and groaned.

Tiredly, she closed her eyes, and even though she thought only a few seconds had gone by, the clock on her nightstand told her that she was asleep for around two hours.

Hastily, she sat up.
She watched the clock with wide eyes.
It was now a little later than 5 p.m. and Ellie was relieved to remember that she hadn't had anything important planned for the day.

She stood up from her bed and headed over to the bathroom. Groggily, she grabbed her brush and started sorting out her hair.

The day wasn't over yet, but it felt like it was going on forever.
