slight mention of self-harm and stalking!

Ellie fled to her room.
A temporary solution, she knew, but she didn't know where else to go.

It was bad. She stood behind the vk's and humiliated Chad. He deserved it, though. But she still messed up.
Her mother would be so mad.

Still in hiding, she curled up under her blanket, hoping this would shield her from the world.
It's not like she regretted her actions, no. The opposite, actually.

She was proud of herself for standing up against Chad. He was a bully and an idiot. And he deserved this. He really did, especially after what he did to Alia.

Speaking of, said girl just entered the room.

"Ellie?" she asked cautiously. Ellie just stayed quiet and hoped her cousin would get the message, but apparently, she didn't.

Alia sat down on Ellie's bed and sighed.
"What you did out there was brave."

Ellie lifted up her blanket so that her head stuck out.
"Brave?" she asked with a questioning tone.
Alia nodded.

"Yes. You stood up to Chad."
"Someone had to do it." Ellie just whispered.

"You're right." Alia said just as quiet.

"It's gonna be alright, right?" Ellie looked up to her cousin. Alia nodded, unsure.
"Of course."

Ellie closed her eyes. This day was exhausting, and she really hoped her mother wouldn't talk to her. Elsa can be very scary.

"You realise how stupid that was?" Elsa asked her daughter as she walked up and down her room.

She had come to see Ellie after Alia had left. Ellie suspected that her cousin had told Elsa where to find her.

"I do." she whispered and looked to the ground.

"That was stupid, Elizabeth." Elsa only ever called her daughter by her full name when she was angry with her.

"Do you know how you've damaged our relationship with Chad's family?" Elsa huffed.

"You have to apologise to him and his family." Elsa came to an abrupt stop and put her hands on her hips.
Usually, Ellie would have nodded and did like her mother told her, but not this time.

"No. I will not apologise to him." Ellie said slowly and lifted her head to look her mother in the eyes.

"What?" Elsa asked with a dangerous tone in her voice.

"I will not apologise to him." Ellie repeated herself, more confident this time.

"Elizabeth, how -"
"No, mother. This is not right. He is a bully and a bad person." she stated and stood up.

"That doesn't matter. This can get out of hands and cause unrepairable damage. This is way more serious than your high-school drama." Elsa said and lifted her hand up to her face. She rubbed her eyes and took a deep breath.

"You will do as I say, Elizabeth." she said firmly.

"No." Ellie stood her ground. Chad didn't deserve an apology.

"Elizabeth." Elsa warned her.

"He insulted and humiliated my friends!" she almost yelled. Elsa scoffed.

"Friends? The vk's?" she shook her head.
"They are villains and not your friends."

Ellie furrowed her eyebrows.
"They may be the children of villains, but they are nicer than you are right now. Everyone deserves a chance."
Ellie said and shot her mother a harsh glare. Elsa took in a sharp breath.
