The next morning, Ellie made her way over to Mal and Evies dorm room.
She groaned internally because she had to wake up even earlier so that she could take them to the cafeteria and show them to their first class of the day.On her way over, she grabbed her school books from her locker and then continued on with her journey. This early in the morning, no one was walking across campus, and Ellie envied them. She would rather have stayed in bed a little longer. But work has to be done. And they were her work now.
She stuffed her books into her backpack and tried to zip it up, but the zipper got stuck, and Ellie groaned in frustration. She tried to zip it with force, but it wouldn't bug. So she pulled it back and then slowly closed the bag.
Ellie sighed and made a mental note to buy a new backpack. This wasn't the first time she had to fight with her backpack to close.****
Ellie knocked on the wooden door and waited a few moments until Evie opened the door.
"Good morning." Ellie forced a smile on her face.
Mal came up behind Evie and crossed her arms."Morning," Mal greeted her. An awkward silence settled in between them.
Ellie cleared her throat."I am here to pick you up...for breakfast and school?" she said, uncertain. Ellie didn't want to intrude or bother the girls, and if she was being honest, she didn't want to do this.
"Yeah, just give us a moment." Mal smiled shortly and then took the door out of Evie's hands. Soon, Ellie was met with a door in her face at which she stared dumbfoundet.
Nice. While the girls got ready, Ellie looked around. This was a whole other part of the dormitories, and she had never been here before. But after a while, there was nothing else to look at, so Ellie bounced on the balls of her feet.
She sighed and considered just walking away because it seemed as if the girls just left her here to rot. But then the door opened, and Mal plus Evie stepped out.
Mal walked straight ahead while Evie looked at Ellie."I am really sorry about her." she looked at Ellie apologetic, but the girl just brushed her off.
"She probably just woke up on the wrong foot."
Evie laughed nervously, and both girls knew that this wasn't the case, but none of them said anything."Are you guys coming, or what?" Mal yelled at the other end of the corridor, and both girls quickly followed the purple haired girl.

Mal quickly knocked on the boys' door and then opened it. Ellie looked at her in horror. Why knocking, if you will just go in without their permission?Inside, the two boys were already up. Jay stuffed something in his pockets very fast and then smiled at them very weirdly, to which Ellie raised her eyebrows. Carlos was in the middle of a video game. Right now, he was fighting something. Ellie rolled her eyes. She got it. Video games are fun, but so early in the morning?
"Good morning, you two!" Ellie tried to be optimistic and waved at them.
"Ready for breakfast?"
At that, both boys perked up. Carlos quickly turned off his game and came running to the girls.
Ellie smiled at him and then looked at Jay, who strutted towards them."Let's go." Mal spun around and lead the way. Ellie shook her head. This girl doesn't even know where she's going.
"So, how are you guys finding Auradon so far? I mean, you haven't been here that long but...you know..." Ellie trailed off awkwardly, and it got even more uncomfortable when none of them answered. Ellie licked her lips and took a deep breath.
"What I mean is, how is your first impression?...How was your first night here?" she chuckled.
