Little Cutie

Two weeks since the Hashira meeting and all the Hashira. Expect Sanemi and Giyu. Have been sending letters to Iguro. Nearly every single day, he would at least get one. He was getting pissed off by it, but he couldn't help that they all wanted to babysit little y/n. Iguro got up from his letter desk. As it was filled with the letters. He went towards the window of his room. As he looked out. He saw the child he had been looking after. Y/n was laughing and playing with her pet Koba and Kaburamaru. Kaburamaru has grown closer to the child. Sometimes, when Iguro wanted to go out. For either groceries or a mission. Kaburamaru would sometimes hiss back at Iguro.

He looked up again and saw Y/n on her bum. She was about to tear up, but her two new friends. Calmed her down. Iguro couldn't help but smile softly. Iguro turned to walk over back to his desk. As he looked at the letters. Iguro sat down, but as he did. His crow arrived about another mission. It was going to last a week. Iguro rubbed his forehead as he tried to think. His crow still on the window.
"Am I doing this mission alone?" He asked.
"No. You will be going with Miss Kanroji" he replied. Iguro looked at the letters and then thought.
"Who else is on missions during that week?" He pulled a piece of paper from a draw.
"Uzui, Tokito, Rengoku, Tomioka and Himejima. Shinobu is working on slayers that are injured" His crow responded.
"So that only leaves" He sighed.
"Doesn't hurt to ask" he muttered to himself. Iguro started to right down the letter to the person that is off for the week.

Iguro finished the letter and went over to his crow.
"Please send this to Sanemi Shinazugawa" He crow opened his beak and grabbed the letter. With that, the crow took off with the letter in its beak. Iguro turned around and went outside to see the three. Kaburamaru was wrapped around Y/n. Koba trying to get to him, by trying to bite his tail. Y/n giggling at the two. She stopped as she noticed Iguro walking towards her.
"Mr Iguro" she cheered and went up to him.
"Can you play with us?" She asked with a smile. Iguro ruffed her hair and bent down to her height.
"I will, but you won't see me for a week" Y/n frowned a little and went closer to Iguro.
"Why not?" She tilted her head. Iguro sighed as he felt her tiny hands on his. He gently held her soft hands in his.
"Because I need to defeat a demon"
"Oh" she looked down. Iguro sighed and gently put his hand under her chin. She looked up at him again.
"I'll bring a gift. If you behave" Y/n smiled and giggled.
"I promise, I will behave" she giggled. Kaburamaru slid over to Iguro and went up on his shoulders. As Koba climbed up Y/n and reated on her shoulder.

All of them heard a growl. Iguro looked down at y/n. As she turned pink.
"Let's go get some think to eat" Y/n giggled and grabbed his hand.
"Ok" the two went back inside, and for the rest of the day. Y/n spent as much time as she could with Iguro. It had been a good couple of weeks. Since Iguro rescued her. Iguro seemed to enjoy Y/ns company. He looked over at the living room. Where she had fell asleep on the floor. With a pencil in her hand. Koba was on top of her head, while Kaburamaru was sleeping beside her. Iguro dried his hands. As he finished the dishes and went over to them. He gently woke up the two reptiles. Iguro gently picked up y/n and went towards her room. The two reptiles following behind him. Iguro opened the door to her room and walked towards her bed. He laid her down gently, and the two reptiles laid down beside her.

Iguro pulled the blanket over her. As the y/n groaned a little. She looked up at Iguro tiredly. Iguro looked down at her and patted her head.
"Goodnight Y/n" he said softly. Y/n smiled tiredly as she snuggled into her bed.
"Goodnight, Papa," she whispered tiredly and went to sleep. Iguros eyes widened as he stared at y/n. Her sleeping figure, in peace. Iguro eyes softened and got up from the ground. He walked towards the door. He put his hand on the door and looked at y/n. Iguro smiled and walked out of the room and closed her door. 

Iguro couldn't help but keep the smile on his face as he walked to his room. Iguro opened his door and walked inside. He saw his crow with a letter in his beak. Iguro went to his crow by the window and took the letter out of his beak. Iguro read the letter and smirked to himself. Sanemi did own him a favour. So in return. Sanemi would babysit Y/n. Iguro that to himself. This was gonna be interesting. Anyway. He put the letter down and changed into his pjs. He went pulled down the mask as he walked into his bathroom. Iguro looked in the mirror and saw his face. The one thing his afraid of now. Is that y/n would be afraid of him. If she saw him like this. No mask, but just the two scars on the side of his mouth. He looked down and hoped she wouldn't be scared, but he didn't hear the little feet coming towards his door.

Y/n rubbed her eyes as she had a nightmare and tears were in her eyes. She wanted Iguro. She didn't bother knocking on his door. As she opened it. Iguro walked out of his bathroom. He froze as he saw Y/n right at his door. Y/n looked at him and gasped. Iguro saw the tears in her eyes and thought it was from him.
"Y/n I.."
"Mr Iguro" She ran to him and hugged him as tight as possible. Iguro stayed frozen as he looked down at her. Y/n looked up at him with teary eyes.
"I had a nightmare" Iguro relaxed as it was just a nightmare she had, but as he picked her up. Y/n looked at his scars. She gently reached out and ran her fingers over one.
"Do they hurt?" She asked him. Iguro only shook his head a little.
"No. They don't. Don't worry y/n" Y/n frowned and crossed her arms.
"Nobody hurts Mr Iguro. I will get whoever hurt you" she put her fists in a fight stances. Iguro couldn't help but laugh at her. Y/n look at Iguro and smiled herself. The two stayed together that night.

Both the two laid down in the one futon, and Y/n was snuggling close to Iguro. With both the warmth and the quietness of the night. The two went into a peaceful sleepy.
