Family Reunion

Chapter Two.

"Will wake up!!!" El yelled as she shook the boy awake.

"El go away." Will muttered back as he pushed her off then shoved his face into the pillow.

"Will come on todays the day!"

Will rolled back over onto his back and stared at El with a annoyed face, but it disappeared a couple seconds later and he smiled.

They both got up and got ready for the day.

Today was the day the Byers & Hoppers were FINALLY moving into their new house.

The battle with the upside down had came to an end at the end of 1987.

Max had woken from her coma and Eddie had, some how, survived and came back.

Hawkins was a still recovering from this brutal fight and many citizens had left so that meant lots of house for sale.

The Byers/Hoppers found a nice 4 bedroom house in the Wheelers neighborhood, and today was the day that they were finally moving in.

They had moved most of their stuff to the new house the days before, but they couldn't officially stay in it until today.

The ride over to the new home was filled with excitement and anxiety.

Johnathan had gotten a new car and was driving El & Will to the new house.

Joyce's car had been left in California and she didn't want to go through the trouble of driving it back when she could just sell it.

So her & Hopper had packed the rest of the stuff that needed to be brought to the house into Hoppers truck that he had stole from the military. (It's just a normal truck not a military truck btw!!)

Will glanced back at El when they pulled onto the street that the new house was on.

They both shared smiles. Smiles that had traces of excitement & anxiety.

"Ah! I am so excited!!" El exclaimed from the backseat.

Moving into this house was way more exciting than when they moved to Cali.

In Cali they always had the reminder that they couldn't bike down the street to see their friends.

But in Hawkins they could walk to all their friends houses in like 5 minutes. It was awesome.

El was excited to get to walk to school with Max every day, or ride shot gun in her car while it was raining and all the boys crammed into the back.

Hopper wasn't planning on letting El drive anytime soon. Will had his license, he just didn't have a car.

All of the other party members had their license too, but only Max, Lucas, & Mike had cars.

"Here it is guys." Johnathan said as they pulled into the driveway.

As soon as Johnathan stopped the car, both the younger kids were already out of the car and running up the steps to their new house.

They had already gotten all their stuff into the house. The only stuff that Hop & Joyce brought was just small decorations that didn't need to be in the house until the fully moved.

Will and El had the two bedrooms on the upper level and a shared bathroom.

Joyce and Hopper had their bedroom on the main floor, and Johnathan got the bedroom in the basement.

Will and El watched as Hoppers truck pulled into the driveway. By then Johnathan was already waiting at the door with them.

"Come on! Come on! Hurry up Dad!" El yelled as soon as Hop & Joyce exited the car.
