Eun storms in the house mumbling incoherent sentences as Jisung follows behind, shutting the door. When the outside world can't hear anything, the elder explodes.

"WE WERE SO CLOSE! THAT IDIOT JUST RAN AWAY AND YOU LET HIM! I EVEN TRUSTED YOU WITH A FUCKING GUN AND YOU COULDN'T HOLD ONTO IT!" He was pacing around the living room, throwing pillows at the wall every now and again. The younger approached cautiously, wanting to diffuse the situation.

"It's okay, I'm sure we'll get him next time!" He says, tensing when his boyfriend turns to him.

"IT'S YOUR FAULT HE GOT AWAY! I NEVER SHOULD HAVE TRUSTED YOU!" A pillow hurtles through the air, Jisung narrowly avoiding it.

"I'm sorry, he took me by surprise, but I won't let you down, I promise!" With each second that goes by that Eun isn't calming down, the worry and fear builds up higher in the younger's mind. The elder moves forward, grabbing his hair and harshly pulling it up as he towers over the boy. Jisung grabs for the other's hands, trying to stop him while he looks up into his angry eyes.

"You promise a lot of things, but never keep them! DO YOU EVEN LOVE ME?" He yells. The younger's eyes widen.

"Yes, of course I love you!" He doesn't even know if he's telling the truth.

"If you loved me, you would have sex with me, wouldn't you?!"

"Is that what this is about?" Jisung asks in disbelief, stopping his struggling for a moment. "It's not like you don't call up your old friends with benefits buddy, so you're not going without."

Eun pulls harder on his hair, making him scream slightly.

"Yes, but I want your body. Just like before." He places a hand on the boy's waist, moving it down slightly as he smirks and tears come to the younger's eyes.

"But I don't want that!" He tries to fight back again, eventually kicking his leg and running away. He runs to his room, locking the door as the elder pounds on the thin wood and screams again.

Jisung backs away as he watches the door shake, cracks appearing from the brutality it has been forced under. The wood looks like it could smash into pieces at any moment. The boy runs into the bathroom, closing and locking the door before sliding down it and covering his mouth as he sobs.

After a few moments, a loud bell ringing sounded through the house and the banging stopped. Jisung waited for a minute longer before quietly opening the door a crack and peeking through. The pounding had stopped but by now the door had multiple large and small cracks in it, some small pieces even having broken off onto the carpet. He could hear speaking on the other side and the sound of the coffee machine.

He creeps out, leaning on the door to hear the muffled voices of Eun and Jae talking. He seizes this opportunity and moves around to push the chest drawers in front of the door, blocking it off. When he's done, he wipes the sweat from his forehead and goes over to the window.

When he looks out at a particular angle, Jisung can see through another window to the living room. The two brothers are sitting on the couch, discussing something when Jae turns his head slightly and catches the younger watching them. He jumps from the window, locking it and pulling the curtain across.

There goes that plan.

Hours later, the pounding starts again, surprising the boy who was browsing the internet to suppress his boredom. He stays still as Eun shouts at him, voice muffled by the door. He soon leaves, reappearing at the window, only seen through a small crack in the curtains with an evil smile.

Drill noises and hammering are heard from where the window is for a while as Jisung goes back to his computer. The noises stop again, and everything goes quiet. The boy pads over to the window, cautiously drawing back the curtains and gasping when he sees multiple pieces of wood covering his view.

He hurriedly unlocks the window and tries to push them off. Now he is completely trapped.

A day goes by, and the boy is lying on his bed, fighting off the growling hunger in his stomach. He can't leave through the door because Eun's out there and he's worried about what he'll do, and he can't leave secretly because the window's boarded up. All he has is tap water to drink but no food.

A text brings Jisung's attention to his phone.

Please come out baby

I'm sorry

I'll make food

Eun's messages light up the dark room. The temptation was there, but so was the fear. He was so hungry, but if he could just hold off until it was safer. His phone dings again.

COME OUT YOU LITTLE BITCH

IF YOU DON'T COME OUT, I'LL KILL YOU

AND THE MEN YOU'VE BEEN FUCKING BEHIND MY BACK

***

A few more days pass and Jisung is curled up, clutching his grumbling stomach. He hasn't had the chance to sneak out and get food since either Eun is home, or he calls his brother over to make sure his boyfriend doesn't leave.

I made your favourite

And coffee

We can watch that show you always wanted to watch

please

The messages were the same every day, deceivingly nice, then threatening.

FUCKING COME OUT ALREADY

OR I'LL MAKE SURE YOU STARVE TO DEATH

Jisung sighs, chucking his phone elsewhere and dragging himself to the bathroom. He inspects his healing ankle, cleaning and adding some more ointment to it before re bandaging it. With not much else to do he tries the window again, leaning his whole-body weight on the boards in an attempt to break them.

He gets angry, starting to punch and hit the wood with all his strength until hot tears burn his eyes. When nothing happens, he drops to the floor, sobbing. It was all too much. The hunger, the emotional and physical pain from his lover, the desperation to see and be comforted by Minho again.

He had said he would see him again.

But so far, he hadn't visited.

Did he care?

Nobody else did.
