Jisung's eyes flutter open to reveal the window out to the bustling city. He can hear Minho's heartbeat near his ear, giving him a comforting beat that he syncs his breathing to. He snuggles closer, his warm breath now hitting the elder's neck.

He stays close, eyes closed but not going back to sleep. He waits for the other to stir from his sleep, gently playing with his hair as he wakes up. Minho shifts, rolling over to face the younger and hold him in his arms.

"Morning sweetheart." He yawns groggily, opening and squinting his eyes as the light. Jisung giggles at his expression.

"Morning sleepyhead."

It had been nearly a month since the boy had last run into Eun, and since he had opened up to Minho. It was a scary thing but made them closer. The elder hadn't said much about his childhood, but Jisung hoped that would come with time.

It had also been nearly a month that they had been laying low, out of the vision of the public, just for now though. The younger wasn't sure what it was, but he knew his boyfriend was planning something big. Something that would shake up the city.

"I was thinking, we should go out a today. Leave the house for a bit." Minho spoke after a minute of observing the other lost in his thoughts. Jisung looks up at him, excitement in his eyes at the idea.

Considering it had been nearly a month since they had left the house for more than a rushed grocery run, he was looking forward to whatever going out could mean.

"What do you wanna do?" The boy mindlessly traces random shapes on his boyfriend's stomach, through the thin cotton shirt he wore.

"We could take a nice walk through the park. We'll just have to wear masks and sunglasses, okay?" After hearing about Jisung's past, and his running into Eun a while back, he was determined to keep him safe. Whatever it takes, small or big. Covering their faces or killing anyone that tried to hurt him.

"Ok! I'm going to shower first, can you get started on breakfast? Oh! Then you can shower while I wash up!" He spoke fast before scuttling to the bathroom as the elder lets out an amused chuckle. He also gets up, moving to the kitchen.

Jisung closes the door to the bathroom, turning on the shower and throwing his clothes off. Just as he's about to step into the warm water, he looks at his face in the mirror. The boy leans in closer, tracing the thin line that made a small dip into his skin. It wasn't as red and noticeable as it had been for a while, but it definitely wasn't fading.

The thought made him sad, knowing he would always have a reminder of that night, a night he wished he could forget. Jisung's gaze moves to his neck, seeing the small scars and hickeys littered there too. He glanced at his ankle, a much uglier sight.

Though it had healed, it had never gotten proper medical attention as it was just too risky. The old injury had a large indent into his skin, like a piece of his leg had been removed. It was red and gross looking, with a texture that looking at would make you want to throw up. Just another reminder of a time he wanted to forget.

But now was not the time to dwell on things. It was supposed to be a happy day, it will be a happy day.

The boy jumps into the shower, sighing as the water cascades down his skin. He quickly washes his body and hair, worried he would take too long. Jisung stops the shower, stepping out and drying in lightning time. He leaves the room and finds clothes, jeans and a hoodie, and walks out to the kitchen.

"Breakfast is done! You have great timing, I was just coming to find you." Minho places the plates at a small table in between the kitchen and living room. Though they weren't really rooms, more like one space with furniture to try and separate the area. In reality, it was a small home, with a bedroom, bathroom and extra room that had somehow squeezed a couch, TV, table for two, and tiny kitchen.

Jisung kisses his cheek before sitting down, diving into the bacon and eggs that had been prepared for him. He grins through full cheeks, making him look even more squirrel like.

"This is delicious, thanks baby." He compliments before stuffing his face with another mouthful. Minho laughs at his boyfriend, also eating but at a slower pace. The couple finish and the younger takes their plates.

"Go have a shower and then we can leave!" The elder smiles at his enthusiasm and heads to the shower. Jisung hears it turn on as he washes the dishes, careful not to use too much water that it would affect the other's shower.

Minho walks back out, jeans and a normal shirt. He hands over a mask and pair of sunglasses for the younger to wear, putting his own on too. The couple leave, hand in hand and walk down the street, basking in the daylight they rarely get to be in.

Jisung stops the two and pulls out his phone for a selfie. The phone they may or may not off stolen back from Eun a week ago.

"Can we pull the masks down for the photo? Pleaseeeee?" The boy begs the elder. He reluctantly nods and the pull the masks to their chins for a second as the selfie is taken.

He pockets his phone again and they continue on their way, soon making it to the park. The younger runs to a swing, sitting on it and kicking off as Minho follows slowly to sit on the swing next to him.

They swing together, Jisung enjoying being outside with his favourite person, and the elder just admiring him. A loud ring interrupts their fun, the boy pulling out his phone to see who it is. His face drops at the contact's name and he freezes.

"Who is it?" Minho asks, not being able to see the phone from his spot.

"Eun." The other replies with a shaky voice. Angry, the elder pulls the phone from his hand and answers the call, putting the phone to his ear.

'Jisung, please come home.' The younger's ex's voice rings through the speaker.

'Sorry, but he won't be coming home to you again.' Minho can practically hear the annoyance and outrage dripping from the other side of the phone.

'Please, let him go! He doesn't deserve the torture I just know you're putting him through. Let him come home, I'm begging you!' Eun's pitiful voice comes through the speaker. 'I know he's being brainwashed by you! There is no way in hell he would hang out with the likes of you!' Minho's smirk grows wider.

'Unfortunately for you, he did come to me willingly. I did not make him do anything, unlike your sorry ass. He will be staying with me where he is safe, and you better send your spies away before I capture them and skin them alive. Bye, hope you die soon!' The elder ends his call with a weird happiness for the words leaving his mouth, giving back the phone to his boyfriend.

He smiles at the boy, who gives a loving smile back.

"Come on, it's getting late. We should probably start walking home." He says, standing and holding out a hand for the other.

He takes it and the two start walking, hands swinging between them and a small hop in their step.
