They weaved through dark alleyways and busy roads, twisting and turning to not get hit by people and cars. Behind them, officers yelled for them to stop, waving handcuffs in the air.

People looked at the pursuit with confused faces that quickly contorted to fear when they saw Minho.

The elder tugged Jisung along as he started to slow down. He looked around at all the scowls aimed at them and the policemen chasing them. There was yelling and sirens. Car screeching and doors slamming.

Everything was loud and overwhelming; it burned his ears. It was too much. His feet slamming against the pavement hard. His arm was being pulled along by Minho in front. He focused on his lover's hand; the blood that hadn't dried being smudged onto his pale skin.

He was suddenly jerked around a corner and through a door into a dark room. The elder let go of his hand and started pushing things in front of the door to block it. Jisung backed into a wall, a hand on his racing heart as he tried to get the air back into his lungs.

Minho finished and turned to him, sweat mixed with blood dripping down the side of his face. The boy looked around the room, spotting a small kitchen in the corner. He pushed off the wall and grabbed the other's hand, guiding him to the sink.

He gently pushed his shoulder's down to make him sit at a stool near it before starting to search the cupboards.

"What are you doing?" Minho asked as he eyed him.

"Searching for a cloth." The younger replies, standing up with a small, blue towel. He runs it under the tap and walks back over to the elder. Jisung lifts the wet cloth up and starts dabbing at the blood, free hand rested on his neck, caressing the other's skin comfortingly with his thumb.

"Is this the place you wanted us to go?" He asks after a few moments. Minho sighs and glances away.

"No. I have a better place in mind, but I wasn't able to lose the officers as soon as I hoped." The boy nods in agreement as he finishes wiping the blood from his face and grabs his hand instead, starting to clean the blood from there.

"What is this place anyway?" He tears his eyes away from his lover's hand to scan the room they were in. It was dark with tables everywhere and chairs stacked on top. The floor was checkered, and multiple restaurant fronts lined the walls. The only light on was the one in the center of the room that cast an eerie glow everywhere else.

"Food court." Minho said. "It's very popular among people travelling through the city at night." Jisung nods and rinses the cloth, watching as the blood swirls down the drain. He brings it back to the elder, ready to start cleaning a cut on his arm when a sudden banging stops him.

"ITS THE POLICE. OPEN THE DOOR WITH YOUR HANDS UP." Yelling sounds through the metal door.

"Shit." Minho curses before quickly standing and walking to the back, the younger throwing away the rag and following.

He opened a door that led to another street and after checking for any people that would see them, stepped out. The sun shone brightly on them, making the couple squint their eyes as they started making their way down the empty road.

The elder guided Jisung through a few more streets as sirens blared in the background and people's yelling mixed in the air.

The couple soon arrived at a large building on the outskirts of the city. The younger followed his boyfriend inside and up the stairs. It was a modern structure but was completely empty. Some areas were empty where walls were supposed to be, others had holes for windows that weren't filled.

At the top, Minho pushed open a heavy door that led to a windy rooftop overlooking the town. Jisung walked to the edge and leaned against the concrete wall built to stop people from falling off. Streets away he could see a crowd of people in the same area near the courthouse.

Police cars swerved through roads, sirens and lights on as they moved. The elder joined him, pulling out a cigarette box and lighter. He handed a smoke to the younger and lit his own, using the end to light the younger's.

They looked over the busy city, the sun setting in the sky as they watched. People were running around like crazy. It was chaos. And both enjoyed watching it unfold.

"What do we do from here?" Jisung asked before taking a long drag and blowing the smoke out to get whisked away by the wind.

"We wait. We stay here and wait until they've forgotten about us. Until they forget about what we've done." Minho replied, turning to face the other.

"And after that?" The boy turned his head to meet the elder's eyes. He shifted to lean back against the wall and took another drag.

"Then, we strike." He snuffed out the cigarette and pushed himself of the wall, turning and holding out a hand for his boyfriend. Jisung smiled and dropped his cigarette before stepping on it and taking his hand.

"For now, I will show you where we'll live." He brought him down a flight of stairs and into a seemingly random room. The younger gasped when he saw the inside. It was much bigger than their old home with a large TV and shiny kitchen countertop.

He rushed to look into another room that a large bed occupied.

"When did you have time to do this?" He asked as he hurried over to the couch, jumping onto it and grabbing the remote.

"This was where my brother lived before he disappeared." Minho explained, sitting down next to the other. The news channel flickered on to a woman outside the courthouse and many citizens who seemed to be protesting.

Today has been a monumental day, and not in a good way. Han Jisung and Lee Minho escaped custody after they were both sentenced to life in prison. People are outraged at this and are starting to protest about it. Though no one is really sure what's going on, we know that the villain of this city is back at large and has brought his lover with him.

Jisung looked to the elder with a smirk before leaning in slightly.

"Did you hear that?" He whispered. Minho leaned in too so that their faces were barely an inch apart.

"What?" He teased.

"They called me your lover." The younger replied as he closed the gap and captured his boyfriend's lips with his own. They moved together slowly and soon a hand was on his waist and his arms snaked around the other's neck.
