TW: Graphic description

***

Jisung barely registered the cup of coffee being placed on the table in front of him. His eyes were locked on the dark brown stain on the floorboard. The stain under where the body was just laying hours earlier. He could still see it.

Eun, guts practically hanging out of his limp frame. Skin pale, full of scratches and stab wounds. One eye splattered across his face, skin of his cheeks hanging loosely, hair matted with blood. Clothes drenched and dyed red.

The image burned into his brain, appearing every time he closed his eyes. The fact he could do that to another human being made him feel sick. Knowing he could possibly lose control like that again made him scared.

Because it was an accident. He didn't mean it to happen.

And he wished it didn't.

Didn't he?

He pulled the cigarette back to his lips, taking a long drag and blowing it out in front of him. The wisps of smoke twirled and danced in the air before fading out. He stilled, swearing he saw the image that never left his mind in the grey swirls. Jisung took another draw of his smoke, watching the wisps carefully but not seeing anything.

The other end of the couch dipped down slightly, Minho eyeing him as he kept staring through the open door to their bedroom. He knew what the younger was thinking about, there was no way he couldn't be.

He was fragile, though he never would admit it. He was broken inside, heart having been shattered over and over again just to be held together loosely by band aids and hope. But now Minho was there, holding his heart together, waiting for the cracks to reseal themselves.

For him to be whole, healed, happy. And he would keep hugging his heart, even after it was fixed.

But now he had no idea what to do except for giving the boy time. He would come to accept it, the first kill is always the hardest. Especially the way it happened. Minho can't blame the boy, and he knows that Eun deserved.

It made him smile at the thought he was dead. There was no longer a threat to the love of his life, and no one trying to kill him.

He hated how Jisung was after it. He didn't sleep and was frozen, zoning in and out but eyes never leaving that spot on the floor. Not while the elder mutilated the body even more and wrapped it, dismembered limbs now fitting in the duffel bag. His gaze didn't even follow as the other picked up the bag and left. He was still in the same spot an hour later, staring as he scrubbed the wooden floorboards to get as much of the colour out as possible.

Minho tore his eyes away from the younger and flicked on the TV. He surfed through the channels until a lady in a suit popped up on the screen, picture of a bag near a river next to her face.

The cities greatest hero Eun's body has been found near the local river. A man was walking his dog when he found the duffel bag. Curious he opened it, horrified to find the disfigured body of our savior. He immediately reported it, and the body later had an autopsy that revealed many stab wounds and scratch marks, one eye broken and bruises on his stomach. Officials have concluded he was in a fight before being brutally murdered and mutilated.

A picture of Minho flicked up on the screen.

Our biggest suspect is the infamous villain that Eun had been hunting down. The police have started looking for him as riots have started outside political buildings and the station. It appears this case has caused a city-wide uproar.

The elder looked over to the other, surprised at seeing his attention on the screen and a small smile forming on his lips. Jisung glanced at him as his smile grew and he swiftly straddled Minho. The other's hands came to automatically rest at his waist as he watched.

The younger took a drag from his cigarette before wrapping his arms around the elder's neck, careful to keep the lit end away from his lover. Minho reflected his smile.

"What's got you happy all of a sudden?" He asked in a teasing tone, hands drawing mindless shapes on his skin.

"I'm free. Finally fucking free." He breathed out. "I did it. I killed him." The elder chuckled at his words before leaning into his neck, hot breath sending shivers down the younger's spine.

"Yes, you did sweetheart." He ghosted over his skin, climbing to his jaw. "And do you want to know something?" He reached his lips, face now barely an inch away. Jisung's lungs stopped working and his muscles tensed under the other's strong gaze.

"Yes." His voice was barely above a whisper, nerves and excitement seemingly choking his vocal cords.

"It was so fucking hot." He closed the gap, lips colliding and breathes mixing. The younger took control, pushing him so he rested against the back of the couch. He hungrily kissed back before pulling away to breathe.

Jisung glanced at the dying cigarette in his hand and back at his lover's lips. He smirked and brought the smoke to his lips, taking a long drag of it and reconnecting their lips. The nicotine whisps moved through their mouths, escaping through the small cracks as they moved.

The younger pulled back again, running his hands down the elder's chest.

"You know, I think this is an occasion to celebrate." He yelped when Minho stood up, holding his ass as his legs wrapped around his waist.

"What'd you have in mind?" He teasingly asked as he took them to the bedroom, kicking the door closed.

The TV kept going in the background, the reporter shuffling around papers on her desk frantically as she got new information.

This just in, DNA has been found on the body. The samples appear to belong to Han Jisung, Eun's boyfriend who went missing months ago. Police are everywhere, searching all possible places he could possibly be. This new lead could mean we find the murderer tonight as the chief orders units to search the popular spots for criminals to hide. If you don't want to get in trouble, I suggest you stay away from the following spots. The old house on 7th street, the shutdown swimming pool and the abandoned factory.
