The moment of silence continued, our faces getting closer and closer to each other..Suddenly, we were interrupted by a phone call from his phone.
"Oh, I'll get that.. im sorry" he says, taking the phone out of his pocket.
"No its fine." I said, sitting back and tucking a strand of hair behind my ear.
I sighed, confused on what just happened. Or what was going to happen.
"Sorry, another prank call." Tom says, walking back and sitting next to me again. "I don't mind. I understand." I said smiling.
"Hey..would you wanna go out right now?" He asked me suddenly.
"Wait, like to to where?" I asked, checking my watch. "Its 11 pm. Are you sure? There won't be any guards protecting us." I added, asking him.
"I don't know. Anywhere the road guides us to!" He said, standing up and dragging me to stand up myself. "Plus, small town..quiet streets." He put an arm on my shoulder. "Peaceful night."
He smiled as i agreed.
We got out of our hotel room and traveled near.
It was a small town, and definitely quiet like Tom said.
"It's cold." I said.
"Do you need a jacket?" He asked me. "No need Tom, i like the cold." I smiled at him cheerfully.
"It's been so long since i've walked any streets without people pushing cameras in my face." I said with a giggle.
"Agreed. Can't remember the last time i did either." He smirked, followed with a chuckle as we explored the town.
"Hey Fae?" He says softly.
"Hm? What's up, Tom?" I say, curious.
"I'm glad to be in this.. thing with you." He says cheekily, his smile being a virus and quickly spreading on me.
"Thing..? What thing?" I asked him, slightly confused.
"Contract. These past weeks have been great with you in my life Fae." He says, his smile widening, making his cheeks raise higher.
"Well, i can't be more thankful-" i said, being cut off.
Tom held my hand all of a sudden, giving it a squeeze before fully interlocking his fingers along with mine.
"Tom? You don't have to. There isn't any press around." I said, chuckling thinking this was a complete joke.
"No, i want to." He said patting my head with his other hand as we walked the sidewalk. "Don't worry about it Fae." He smiled, squeezing my cheeks.
I smiled, a slight blush growing on my cheeks.
Toms POV:
I saw a blush grow on her face. She smiled to herself and personally i couldn't keep admiring her.
How soft spoken she was. How polite yet defensive her personality came off. The way she cared. How easy it was for me to trust her so quickly.
How fast it was to get comfortable with her. How peaceful and calming it is to have her and her presence around.
"Woah!" I said, running while holding her hand.
"Tom slow down!" She says, giggling and trying to keep up with the pace.
"Look at that Fae." I said, pointing to the stars.
"That's.. beautiful." Fae said, her jaw dropping in awe.
