➤ Happy 19th !

I'm turning 19 today.

I'm growing older, im soon to be in my twenties. But i still feel the same.

As I've said before, i haven't really celebrated my birthday in years. I stopped enjoying it and i don't think it'll any be different today.

I was shooting with a new brand for my birthday. In specific, basically a birthday photoshoot just for me.

Of course i appreciated it, but i felt like birthdays were just a reminder that i was one year closer to death and i was celebrating that.

I got home from a tiring day, seeing my mother left a small slice of cake with a colorful candle left for me on the counter of our apartment.

I took it and sighed. I wish my mother had the time to actually celebrate with me once in a while, maybe then I'd start appreciating my "special days."

"Thanks mom." I whispered to myself, reading the card she gave me. She didn't even write it herself, it was a store bought card.

I checked my phone, sighing as i saw none of my friends or the band members greeted me. Not even Tom.

I grabbed a fork, entering my room to eat the cake.

"SURPRISE!!!" The group yelled out.

There were confetti poppers being popped by Georg, a cake being held by Tom, a stack of gifts on my bed, on the floor and some being held by Bill and Gustav.

"Guys?!" I yelled out in surprise. "I-I don't know what to say, im in shock!" I smiled out, on the verge of crying from the thought that somebody actually appreciated me enough to surprise me like this.

"Happy birthday Fae!" Bill and Gustav yelled out, running over to hug me.

I quickly placed the cake my mother gave me on my bedside table and hugged them back. "Thank you so much.." i whispered.

"How did you guys even do this?" I squealed out excitedly. "Tom asked your mother for the permission and spare keys a few days ago." Georg say, giving me a side hug.

"Happy birthday Fae." Georg said.

I thanked him and made my way over to Tom. "Hey.." i said softly, smiling brightly while tears surrounded my eyes.

He handed the cake to Gustav and greeted me with open arms. "Hallo mi amor!" (Hello my love!) he said pulling me into his embrace. "Don't cry meine liebe. Its okayy." Tom said assuring me as he caressed my back.

"Thank you so much everyone..!" I whispered, my voice shaking slightly since tears were flowing down my face.

"We love you Fae." Bill said, patting my head and giving my cheeks a squeeze after.

I smiled as they started singing "Happy Birthday" to me.

I covered my mouth in shock, endlessly smiling.

"Make a wish!" Tom says to me.

I closed my eyes for a few seconds, imagining my wish.

I then blew out the candles, clapping my hands as everyone around me cheered.

We celebrated, played a few games and ate all the food everyone had prepared.

It was now nighttime and the boys said it was time for gift opening.

We were sat down in my living room, the doors to my balcony right in front of us were open, the curtains closed although. The cool breeze filling our nostrils.

Gustav was stuffing his face with cake on the floor. Georg sat beside him. Bill had his legs crossed as he sat beside me on the couch. Tom had his head resting on my shoulder, giving my cheeks a quick kiss here and there.
