"Something is wrong Fae! And you need to tell somebody other than bottling up!" He said as we got out of the car.

"I can't. Nothing is wrong!" I told him as we went into his house.

"No, you can't just say that when you look like you're shutting yourself away all the time Fae." He responds, opening the door for me.

"I'm n-not." I responded, trying my best to hold in my tears.

"You are!" He says, holding my shoulders in the entrance of his house.

"Why should you care!" I yelled back, a tear forming.

"Out of everybody.. no one cared to notice or to listen! So why you? A person I've known and became friends with in under two months!" I added.

"Fae.." he responded, holding my cheek.

"No! N-no you can't just expect me to burden you with my problems!" I said, tears streaming down my face.

I saw his facial expressions falling. "Fae.. is that what you think? That you're a burden?" He asked me, a soft tone in voice.

I froze right there, realizing what i just said.

My eyes started to water even more, i looked at my hands as they started trembling in panic.

"You aren't a burden Fae. You never are and you never will be." He said, holding my face with one hand and my arm on the other.

"You can talk to me. I promise you, you're safe with me Fae." He whispered.

"Why do you care about me so much..? It's not like we're more than friends but you act like we are. We both do.." i said.

Toms POV:

My expression fell once more, hearing these words come out.

"We don't have to be more than friends just for me to care so much." I spoke.

"Then why did you kiss my forehead like that last night? Why would you, hold me whenever i felt like panicking." She said with gestures. "This isn't casual Tom!" She added to her sentence.

"Why would you hold my hand when there wasn't any paparazzi around? And what just because you said you wanted to?" She added on.

"Was any of that casual?!" She yelled.

"Maybe not! Maybe i do feel more than just friends for you! But that doesn't mean im only treating you with care just because i feel that way!" I responded, tears starting to form around my eyes.

"You can't..you can't feel that way!" She yelled out.

"Why not..?" I whispered, feeling hurt.

"Tom.. i mean.." she whispered back.

"Our promise.." she added, looking up to me as i held her face in my hand

"Im willing to break it Fae. Just for you." I responded. "You can't Tom.. what are we supposed to do after these 5 months?" She said.

"We have about 3 months left anyway.. what are we supposed to do?" She asked me.

"Then we continue after. No contracts, no anything." I pleaded.

"I can't risk it.." she said, making me go confused.

"You can't risk what exactly Fae..?" I asked her. "I can't risk getting my heart broken again Tom. I just can't." She spoke softly.

"I'm not going to. I don't plan to or want to do that to you Fae. Ever." I said, assuring her. I took stopped holding her face and held her hands, giving it a slight squeeze in the middle as i held it up in between both of us.

"Give me a chance, lets take this risk." I said. She tilted her head, shaking it in confusion and disapproval.

"Because i want you Fae. You're unlike any other.." i whispered, starting to tear up, holding her closer to me by the second.

"You know your worth, you always stand your ground and you're never afraid to live life to the fullest." I added, comforting her as waterfalls fell on her face.

"But, Tom.." she whispered, shaking her head to the side. "No Fae, if this is about the im hard to understand bullshit again then just don't." I said.

"Nobody is hard to understand. As long as a person actually wants to effort for you, nothing is hard. I promise you." I said, holding her in my embrace.

"I want to do this Fae. Let me try." I added.

Suddenly the tears that she tried to hold in, broke and i could feel her melting in my arms. Her strong defense, softening.

Suddenly we fell to the floor, and she sobbed, hugging me tightly.

"It's okay Fae." I whispered, shushing and caressing her back to comfort her.

"You're okay. I promise." I held her face, bringing her to look at me.

I smiled, seeing at how softer her gaze was.

"Fae.. can we try to see if this works out?" I asked her.

Suddenly, she smiled and nodded.

I gave her a quick peck on her forehead.

"Thank you." She whispered.

And then, i brought her into my embrace once more.
