Branch's Pov
After Poppy and I opened all the cells, we exited the dungeon and started looking for Holly, Delta and Gust. They had been caught by the party crashers and Creek was interrogating them. Since it was our fault that they got caught up into this, me and Poppy exchanged looks and we knew that we had to help them and get them out of this mess that we made. So we revealed ourselves to Creek.
"Sweetie???" Poppy said jokingly
"Poppy??? You came back. I knew that you were too caring to stay away."
As long as Poppy and Creek were fighting and discussing about their relationship, I found my grandma and freed the country trolls and then I had the perfect opportunity to lead everyone to the main door. Everyone got out and they were finally safe except us. Creek got really mad and attacked to Poppy with his sword and scratched her leg.
"Poppy!!!" I yelled and ran up to her, but no one was guarding the door so the party crashers locked it and trapped us inside. I punched Creek so hard that he fell to the ground.
"Poppy, are you okay???"
"It hurts so bad!!!!"
"Come on." I said and picked her up and started running. Now, there was no way out.
"Guards!!! Snatch them!!!" Creek yelled and the party crashers started chasing us.
"Poppy, if we don't make it out alive there's something I have to tell you."
"We're gonna make it, just run!!!!!"
Me and Poppy entered the kitchen and started braking things so the party crashers could follow us. We hid behind the door and when the guards got into the room and started looking for us, we left our hiding place and locked them inside.
"Poppy????" Creek said in a creepy voice
"Let's go." I said and we started running to my room, but Creek caught up to us and threw me to the ground. I hit my head to the wall and started bleeding.
"Branch!!!!" I heard Poppy yelling before Creek picked her up and carried her to his room.
If you mess with my girl, you mess with me.
I tried to stand up and started running to Creek's room and of course the door was locked. I heard Poppy screaming and then I really lost it.
"Poppy!!!!! Poppy!!!!!! I'm coming!!!!!!" I said and broke down the door. Creek had pinned her down and threatened her. Poppy was crying and screaming and then Creek took a knife from his hair and stabbed her arm. I couldn't stand it anymore. I couldn't watch her like that, so I attached Creek and took him off of her. Luckily, Creek lost consciousness.
"Branch!!!"
"Don't worry. I'm here." I lifted her up and we started running again.
"What are we going to do??? He is going to find us wherever we are." Poppy said
"I have an idea."
Me and Poppy went to my grandma's room, which was the biggest room in the palace. The room was a mess. Our only option was to leave from the balcony but that door was also locked. Great. We didn't have any other choice but to hide behind the couch.
"And what now ???" Poppy asked while she was trembling
"We don't have any other choice. We have to stop him."
"Branch????? Poppy?????" Creek was looking for us. I should have hit him harder.
"You know that you can't hide forever." Creek said and tried to open the door. He obviously knew that we were here. Creek opened the door with his sword and he got in. Poppy was ready to reveal herself so everything would end, but I grabbed her by her waist and hugged her. We were both breathing heavily and Creek was still looking around the room for us.
"Poppy????? I'm going to find you sweetie." He's right. He would find us eventually.
And he did.
"There you are."
