I understand that neither of us is wrong

It's just that I don't want to always be the second choice

Always after the things you consider your reasons to exist

So there's no reason for me to stay

This will be the reason I'll stop hesitating and holding onto dreams forever.

Exit Sign-HIEUTHUHAI

At 8 AM, Owen arrived at the airport in Korea. After a long and exhausting flight, he looked somewhat disheveled. His clothes were no longer as neat as when he first boarded the plane, his hair was a bit messy, and despite wearing glasses, his blue eyes couldn't hide his natural handsomeness. Though tired, Owen's charm was undeniable.

Passersby couldn't help but notice and admire his appearance. A girl, struck by Owen's allure, approached him and asked, "Do you have a girlfriend?"

Owen smiled gently and replied, "Yes, I do have a girlfriend." Her image flashed in his mind.

After leaving the airport, Owen headed to Sunny School, where Meilin was studying. He entered the school campus, looking tired but still maintaining his elegant demeanor. As Owen appeared, the students' attention quickly turned to him. People gathered around, surprised and admiring the tall, mysterious man standing in the schoolyard.

Meilin, standing with Shelly and their friends, was also drawn by the commotion. When she saw Owen, her heart suddenly tightened. Although Owen was quite far away, Meilin could recognize him immediately. She knew it was Owen, the one she hadn't had the courage to meet all this time.

Owen approached, still feeling somewhat out of place but trying to remain calm. He approached a group of students gathered around and asked in English, "Excuse me, do you know which class Meilin is in?"

A few students in the group looked at each other, surprised by the question. One of them, looking puzzled but polite, replied, "She is in classroom 305."

Owen thanked them and headed towards the indicated classroom. Meilin, standing not far away, heard Owen's question, and her heart pounded.

When Owen reached the class, Meilin was standing in the hallway, feeling a mix of excitement and anxiety. She saw Owen approaching, each step he took full of determination. When their eyes met, everything around them seemed to quiet down.

Owen stopped in front of Meilin, exhaling deeply, but his eyes remained resolute. "Meilin, I need to talk to you."

Meilin looked at Owen, feeling a whirlwind of emotions inside her. She didn't know how to react, but she knew that this meeting could change everything.

Meilin nodded, trying to stay calm. "Can we go somewhere quiet to talk? This isn't the right place." She looked around, noticing many people watching them.

Owen smiled softly, relieved. "Okay, let's go. I want to explain everything that happened."

Meilin led Owen to a quiet area in the school, where there were fewer people around. She felt the tension in the air but also a bit of anticipation.

Meilin and Owen stood under the shade of a tree in a secluded corner of the school garden. The atmosphere around them was gentle, but the tension was still present. Owen looked at Meilin with sincere eyes, awaiting a response.

"Meilin, when I came here, I was very worried that you wouldn't remember me. I know I was wrong and rejected your feelings. But I want to make things right," Owen said with a voice full of emotion.

Meilin felt her heart tighten at Owen's words. She had waited a long time to hear these apologies, but now that she heard them, her emotions became more complicated than ever. She knew that forgiveness and moving forward wouldn't be easy.

Meilin took a deep breath, trying to stay calm. "Owen, I don't know where to start. I felt very hurt by what you did. I need you to know that this can't be fixed just with apologies."

Owen was surprised and disappointed. "What do you mean? I came here just to apologize and make things right. Why won't you give me a chance?"

Meilin looked at Owen with determined eyes. "You hurt me too much. I went through a lot of pain when you didn't reciprocate my feelings. I can't easily forget what happened and start over as if nothing happened."

Owen felt the pain in Meilin's rejection. A new worry surfaced in his heart. "Meilin, do you... have someone else now?"

Meilin looked at Owen, surprised. "Why do you ask? You didn't care about me, so why do you care if I have someone else?"

Owen lowered his head, feeling a rising sense of disappointment. "It's just... I'm worried that if you have someone else, I won't have any chance left. But if you don't, I want to try to make things right."

Meilin sensed the sincerity in Owen's words. She knew he still loved her, but she also understood that change couldn't happen immediately, and perhaps his intentions were more about seeking her comfort than genuine love.

Owen decided not to give up easily. "Even if you reject me, I won't give up. I'll do everything I can to prove that I've truly changed. I'll show that I can be worthy of your love."

Meilin looked at Owen, feeling the sincerity in his voice. "I don't know if you can change. But if you really want to, I'll watch to see how you change."

Owen nodded, feeling a stronger determination in his heart than ever before. "Thank you for giving me a chance. I won't let you down."

Owen and Meilin stood up, both feeling tense but also somewhat relieved. Owen knew that this journey wouldn't be easy, but he was determined to do everything he could to fix his mistakes.

Meilin smiled gently, although her heart still ached. "Let's start from here, but I hope you understand that this can't happen overnight."
Owen nodded, his eyes full of determination and hope. "I understand. I'll prove that I can change and do everything to be worthy of your love."
