In his sleep, Owen dreamed of the time when he and Meilin had a cold war due to a disagreement. The tension and frustration felt so real, making his heart race.
Meilin walked into the classroom, completely ignoring Owen. She passed by him without so much as a glance. Owen, on the other hand, couldn't take his eyes off her, no matter what she was doing or who she was talking to. His gaze was filled with worry and regret.
After school, Owen tried to catch up with Meilin to make amends. He ran quickly, but she was walking too fast. When he reached the school gate, he saw a guy on a motorcycle waving to Meilin. Owen's heart sank at the sight.

Meilin walked up to the guy and said, "What? Why are you here? Missed me that much?"
Owen, standing nearby, accidentally overheard this. He felt like someone had stabbed him in the heart. A wave of helplessness and jealousy washed over him.
Owen woke up with a start, his forehead drenched in sweat. He sat up, sighed deeply, and felt a heavy weight in his chest. Determined not to lose Meilin again, he decided to go to her room to talk.
He left the guest room and gently knocked on Meilin's door. After a moment, Meilin opened the door, her eyes still drowsy. "Owen, what is it?"
Owen looked at Meilin, feeling a sharp pain in his heart as he recalled the dream. "I can't sleep. Can I talk to you for a bit?"
Meilin frowned but still invited Owen in. They sat down on the bed, the soft light casting a gentle glow."Meilin, I dreamed about the time we had that cold war. I can't stand the thought of losing you again," Owen began, his voice trembling.
Meilin looked at Owen, feeling the sadness in his words. "Owen, that's all in the past. Now you're sitting right here next to me, not him."
Owen nodded, taking Meilin's hand. "I'll do everything I can to make you trust and love me again. I promise I'll never hurt you again."
Meilin felt her heart lighten at Owen's sincere promises. "Owen, I want us to be happy together too. But let's take it slow." She gently hugged Owen.
Owen agreed, knowing he couldn't rush things. "I understand. I'll be patient and show you with my actions."
Owen asked softly, "Can I sleep with you? I won't do anything, I swear."
Meilin, seeing Owen acting so cutely, couldn't help but soften. "Alright, but you have to sleep on the edge and don't touch me."
The next morning, Owen woke up to find something lying on him. Looking down, he saw Meilin clinging to him in her sleep. He wanted to savor the warmth a little longer before getting up.

Meilin opened her eyes and, seeing herself hugging Owen, felt a bit embarrassed. She got up first and went out to make breakfast.
After breakfast, Meilin and Owen went to school together. Meilin took Owen to meet the principal, Mr. Meiin.
"Good morning, Principal Meiin. This is my new classmate, Owen," Meilin said with a bright smile.
Principal Meiin looked at Owen and nodded in greeting. "Welcome, Owen. I hope you quickly adapt and have a great time studying here."
Owen thanked him, feeling reassured by the warm welcome. After that, Meilin took Owen to her classroom. She sat in her seat, and Owen sat next to her.
Owen looked into Meilin's desk and saw it was full of gifts. He couldn't help but be surprised. "Wow, you're quite popular, huh?"
Meilin glared at Owen, smiling slightly. "Not as much as you."
In the classroom, Owen felt the attention of the other female students. They whispered among themselves, seemingly curious about the new guy. But Owen's eyes were only on Meilin, feeling the warmth and affection slowly returning between them.
