Changbin POV:

Minnie and I stayed put for about 6 hours before deciding to try and go back. She's obviously tired without her medicine and she's constantly falling asleep. By this point I might just have to carry her.

It's so hot and tiring to hike but if I want to get back then I need to keep pushing.

Minnie and I aren't exactly friends but I shouldn't tell her that, she'd probably freak out and leave me.

If I were lost with Yuqi there is a chance it would be more fun, but it's Minnie and there's nothing I can do about it.

"Binnie I'm tired." Minnie groans, her eyes fluttering open and shut. "Just keep walking." I say more harshly than intended.

"I don't think I can, I need a break." Minnie whispers. I groan before bending my knees. "Get on my back." I say.

She does as I say, her legs wrap around my waist and her arms drape over my neck.

I put my arms under her knees to keep her stable as we walk. She's not heavy at all but walking up hill with a person on your back is challenging.

She falls asleep on my shoulder after about five minutes. Great, now I have no one to keep me company.

🕓🕓🕓

Around an hour and a half pass of non stop walking, my legs are getting sore and my arms are numb.

The forest seems to be never ending, there's no chance I went the right way. I spin around to check my surroundings, it's fairly recognizable but I can't put my finger on it.

I look around some more before it hits me, this is my special spot with Channie. Now that I know where I am the rest of the hike is easy.

I walk through a river path before waking up Minnie. "Nicha, I know where we are!" I say excitedly, "They'll find us here!" I smile.

Minnie flutters her eyes open before putting a thumbs up. I set her down before finding a rock to sit on. She sits beside me, still tired.

"Chan and I went here once or twice when I was at my lowest." I smile. Minnie nods before yawning.

I put my hands behind my back and I lean on them. I admire the beautiful view of a waterfall as I watch the wildlife pass.

Minnie curls up and uses my lap as a pillow. Even though she's narcoleptic she has no reason to be tired. I roll my eyes, but I let her sleep.

🕓🕓🕓

A couple hours pass before Minnie wakes up. She stretches her arms and yawns. "What time is it?" She groans.

"How would I know?" I laugh softly, she smiles.
"It's really hot out, can we go for a swim?" Minnie asks as she looks out into the waterfall.

"I guess, but be careful." I shrug.

She smiles before tying her hair back with the hair tie that was on her wrist. She slowly but carefully makes her way down the rocks to the open water.

She dips her feet in before sliding in. It's about up to her chest, not deep enough to drown. We are about the same height so why not go for a swim?

I do the same thing, slowly making it down the slippery rocks.

I jump in, making a big splash before surfacing to catch some air.

Minnie chuckles and splashes me. "I didn't notice you coming down." She smiles. I shrug, "I'm hot too."

We swim around for a couple minutes before the sound of a whistle stops us in our tracks. "I think they're close." I say softly.

We push ourselves out the water before going back up to the rock. We slide on our shoes before standing up.
