I was on Instagram and I saw this one video talking about idols who had a tough upbringing... people in the comments were comparing Han Jisung and Cho Miyeon.
Han: His parents wanting him to continue his studies instead of becoming a K-pop idol. He is know on good terms with his parents.
Miyeon: Her dad would beat her every day and one time her mother chased her with a knife in an attempt to kill her. She openly said she hopes her parents burn in hell.
First off why were they comparing trauma but secondly why were some STAYS saying Miyeon was weak and that she should be glad her parents supported her as an idol...
