Soojin POV:
I wake up to the bright rays of sunshine shining into my face. Quite possibly the worst way to wake up. I stretch, cracking my back as I do so.
When I open my eyes I see Shuhua isn't beside me. I frown before getting up and walking over to my dresser.
I pick out some simple clothes, and I grab my meds. I shove them down with a glass of water.
Then I walk over to the bathroom, I brush my teeth, brush my hair, I do some light makeup, and I spin for myself in the mirror.
Once I'm done getting all dolled up I walk out and down the hall to the kitchen. "What's for breakfast?" I call out, my face glued to my phone.
But when I get no response I look up, Shuhua isn't there. But a note is.
I walk over to the stove where a note is in the pan. It reads, "Soojin I made some food, it's in the fridge. Today I was called in to meet my new patient. She seems super chill so don't worry about me. I love you, if you need anything grab Yuna or Chaeryeong. XoXo- Shu"
Great, my one source of entertainment won't be here on my first free day.
I sigh before walking over to the fridge, I pull out the meal she made. It's a simple breakfast but it's Shuhua's favorite. It reminds her of her childhood back in Taiwan.
Once I'm finished with my meal I decide to see who's awake. No one is in the living room so I look at the chart.
Almost everyone is getting medicine tested today except for Sunoo, Ni-Ki, Jeongin, and Lia.
I know Changbin is friends with Sunoo but I don't really talk to anyone but Shuhua unless I have to.
I walk down the hall to my brothers room. Chan also isn't there, probably went with Shuhua.
"Changbin, wake up." I say as I climb into bed with him. I wrap my limbs around his body just like I used to when we were kids.
My head is on his chest and I'm holding him like a koala on a tree. "Soojin? Why didn't you sleep in?" He groans.
"Narcoleptic behaviors shouldn't be encouraged." I use air quotes to mock Shuhua. I still love her though.
"And you came to bother me?" Changbin rolls over but I'm still latched on to him so I'm basically flung around.
"Yeah, I'm not really friends with anyone here today." I say softly. Changbin finally opens his eyes fully.
"Okay just give me a minute to get ready." He ruffed my hair before shaking me off him. I was out his room, closing the door behind me.
After a few moments of me pacing back and forth he comes back. Unironically we basically look the same right now. Our outfits are quite similar I just have longer hair.
"So what do you want to do on our first free day?" I ask. Changbin shrugs, "Wanna take the girls out on a walk?" He says softly.
I think for a moment, "I think Ryujin took them for mani pedi's." I say thoughtfully. (Big girl words🤓)
"Maybe you and I can have a twin day? Like just us?" Changbin says with a soft smile curling into the corners of his lips.
I've always loved his smile. His eyes crinkle at the corners when he's really happy and his lips go thin.
"Yeah, we can get some street food if you'd like." I say, smiling back at him.
"Okay, let's go." Changbin says.
We clasp hands as we walk out the house, getting ready to start our first day as free minds.
