He said it wouldn't be hard. It was. You tried every statement and every word for him to understand. It wasn't that you liked him. He was just there. You were so used to being so affectionately liked by everyone else. Everyone but him. He toyed with you even as you walked home. "Doll, why are you so silent?" Doll. That word he so affectionately called you. The same word that made your knees feel a little weak. You frowned at it. "Don't call me that." But you didn't want him to stop. "Why not?" He knew the effect he had on you. You revelled in it.

Shidou Ryusei was a character. A character who did ejaculate on a football field. A character with an obsession for someone who wasn't you. A character who was making himself your obsession. He was playing hard to get. You knew it. However, he genuinely was hard to get. "Because I might lose my mind if I hear that one more time." The good kind of mind loss. He would drive you crazy.

"Are you going to go?" A part of you needed him to leave. Needed to forget his face. His voice. Everything that lured her into him. "Do you want me to?" You did. "Yes." You didn't want him to leave, but you needed him to leave. You couldn't get addicted. You couldn't fall for the one boy who didn't want you. What kind of idiot would you be to do such a thing.

He sighed. "I'm out, doll. If you ever want me, need me by your side, just speak. Shame we didn't fuck, but maybe next time." You rolled your eyes. But you weren't annoyed.

You were amused. He was always amused. You couldn't imagine him upset. You couldn't imagine him upset at you. It seemed impossible to even comprehend. He was just so welcoming.

You waited. You waited for somebody to show up. More than anything you no longer wanted to be surrounded by your own company. Because you didn't want to be alone again. You just didn't want to see Shidou. And you knew it was selfish to use someone else to distract you from Shidou. But you knew whoever came would be better. Whoever came would give you the same butterflies. Whoever came would make you want them more than anything in the world.

Hell, whoever came would mean the world to you. The door wrung at your bell. Your legs led you towards the door once again. You knew it would be right to give some of those boys attention. But you needed your brother more than anything right now.

The universe knew that too. His blue hair reaching your eyes. And although the white haired boy behind him was taller, Hiori's presence was bolder to you. Your eyes widened. "Yo!" Your voice going slightly higher pitched at the sight of your brother. You blatantly ignored Nagi for a second. "Hassle." You heard him mumble. Your eyes shot at him. "Sei?" He nodded. The two stepped inside the house. Hiori's shoulders becoming more relaxed at the familiarity of this place. You smiled at Seishiro as you led them both to the couch.

Even at times which you found it difficult to maintain composure, you instantly relaxed when with your brother. "When do mother and father get back?" You tensed up at the mention. It meant less control. Less time. Less of them. It meant being forced to do as your told because that was how you always lived. It meant giving up all the happiness you attained in the time with them. All the love you received. "On Saturday." He sighed. Nagi simply looked at you two confused. "Hassling." He was like a record.

It worked perfectly, but it just didn't want to play the right songs. You smiled at his obliviousness. "You're so cute." Hiori's graze sharpened. "Ehm ehm." Nagi didn't pay any mind to Hiori as he rested his head on you. It didn't help that he was so much taller than you. "Hurts. Head bend too much. You too short." Hiori snorted like a damn pig at you being called short. "Wow. I see how it is." However, Seishiro didn't see a problem with what he said. "You should just grow. Then not as hassling."

You couldn't even be mad at how clueless the boy was. He wasn't even trying to tease you. "Wait, let me try something." You went quiet. He lifted you unto his lap. You tensed up. Hiori eyed him. Irritated. "I'm right here and I swear if you don't get my sister off you, the only hassle will be me having to fucking bury you." This time he did heed the warning and lowered you back down. "I'm tired. I want to sleep." You shook your head. "I'm tired too."

Hiori looked at you. You looked at him. You nodded. He nodded. Nagi didn't really mind that he didn't understand. Asking and learning was too much work anyway. "I'm tired too." Hiori was exhausted. You could tell by the way his body slanted. "I swear they deprive you guys of sleep there." You mumbled. Because all of them always seemed to be dealing with some sort of exhaustion despite how well they attempted to hide it. You knew it well. More than any of them.

Your parents' bed was big. Huge. "Let's go to sleep then." Nagi looked confused but was not going to object to the idea of sleeping. Especially with you. It didn't really feel so uncomfortable with Hiori. Mainly because ever since you were a child, you had always fallen asleep with him whenever there was a storm. So you didn't think much of it. And neither did he. Because you never were able to go to your parents to stay with them during a storm. So you went to your brother.

Nagi followed you guys up the stairs. The bed was big. He looked excited at such a comfortable bed. All three of you fit on the bed. The milk haired boy fell asleep almost instantly. The bed seemingly a sleep medicine to him. It took you a bit longer to fall asleep but you did. Hiori fell asleep. Your legs resting on top of him.

Then you felt hands wrap around you waist. His soft snores becoming the only prominent thing you heard. And the thing that lulled you to sleep.

I'm genuinely going to kill wattpad. How do you fumble your app so bad. Like don't update and be worse. I'm killing myself. Because this was meant to be a chatfic based chapter and everything. But it wouldn't work properly and then I screamed. Because it makes me so mad that I literally cry.

The main story of this book is nearly coming to an end. Not the book itself because I'm going to do like multiple endings. You can make requests now. (It can be anyone whose been kind of relevant in the story or chatfic bits.) Like not tomitsuku or someone bc he was barely featured.

I will be doing a bachira, Rin, Sae, Shidou, Isagi, Chigiri, Raichi, Nagi, Kaiser ending for sure. But if you want someone who isn't on there just ask!

An ending will be like multiple chapters long because I hate rushed multiple endings so much.
