Lost feelings...

Shot in the arm

Knuckles POV:

We listened to their whole conversation that Amy and Sonic had and I couldn't help but feel bad for her. Rouge stared at me with worry in her eyes. We covered our mouths when we heard Sonic step closer. Amy begged him to take her home but Sonic yelled at her making everything go silent.

Rouge: "What a jerk..." (She whispers to me grabbing a flashbomb.)

I nod my head getting ready to make a run for it. We hear his footsteps get louder and Rouge jumps up from the bush throwing the flashbomb in his face. She makes a run for it as he groans. I get up from the bush pointing at Shadow and Tails to Amy before running in a different direction. I hop and pass over each trap and I hear Sonic growl and I turn my head to see that he was going after me.

He was fast but fortunately the traps slowed him down by a bit. He wasn't giving up and kept going after me. He was about to get me before he triggered one of the traps Rouge set up on the tree. The branch smacked him good that he dropped to his knees holding his face as he moans in pain.

Knuckles: "Snap out of it Sonic!" (I say getting ready to throw a jump if he were to make a wrong move.) "I don't want to have to hurt you!"

Sonic: "Neither of you guys will take her away from me!" (His eyes filled with manic intensity while growling.)

Sonic dashes towards me trying to tackle me down to the ground but with my bute strength I push him to the side. I knew I wasn't able to hold him off for long.

Knuckles: "I can't hold on for much longer! Hurry up!" (I yell out hoping they'd hear me.)

Sonic lunges back at me but this time I was ready. I throw a punch at him but he blocks that punch throwing a punch back at me. Sonic eyes burned with a mix of fury and confusion as he attacked. Rouge came holding a huge thick tree branch that she smacks Sonic with. He gets off of me and we all look up into the sky seeing a red flare go off.

Rouge: "They got her let's go!" (She says running to the one of the exits we had full of traps.)

Sonic: "Amy..." (He says muttering under his breathe.)

I wasn't going to stay for longer and I follow Rouge behind. I turn around to see Sonic running a different way which was good for both of us but I wasn't so sure about Tails and Shadow.

Shadow's POV:

We watched closely as he got closer to the bush. I was getting ready to help Rouge and Knuckles if something happened but as we watched Rouge jumped up from the bush and throwing a flash bomb directly in his face. They both dashed in different directions and I couldn't help but laugh. Tails got up from the bush about to run up to Amy but I pull him down.

Shadow: "Stay down! Wait until he's gone before we go after to her."

Tails nods staring at Amy. We watched as she trembled and backed up slowly. We heard multiple of traps go off and that's when we decided to run towards Amy.

Shadow: "Amy let's go!" (I yell at her to get her attention.)

Her eyes that were once filled with fear were wiped away with relief.

Amy: "Tails, Shadow!" (She says smiling and running towards us.)

Tails: "We need to alert the others now!" (Pulling out a flare.)

Shadow: "Do it now we have to get out of here."

Tail uses the flare that fired into the sky, the bright light signaling our success on getting Amy to Rouge and Knuckles and I let Amy grab onto my arm as we start running back.

Sonic: "You won't take her away from me!" (Sonic yells emerging from the woods. His eyes were wid and filled with rage.)

Amy: "Sonic stop!" (She yells terrified.)

Sonic charged at us with incredible speed but that wasn't going to stop me. Quickly without hesitation I aimed the tranquilizer gun at Sonic shooting a few darts at him. Amy yelled and Tails covered his head in fear. I saw a dart hit him in the arm. Sonic's eyes wideneded and he grabs his arm keeping his eyes on me.

Sonic: "Not again..." (He says under his breathe.)

I lowered the gun breathing in relief. Sonic stumbled down slowly gritting his teeth as his movements became sluggish.
Amy runs to Sonic side and he holds on to her as he shuts his eyes. She slowly and gentlys places him on the ground.

Shadow: "This obsession has gone to far." (I walk towards them pointing the gun at him just to play around with him.)

Before Sonic became unconscious he gave me this look of hate. I smirk and Amy with one hand under his head and one on his chest starts sobbing silently.

Tails: "Amy...we have to go." (He says being just as upset.)

She shakes her head no wiping her tears away. Tails looks up at me wondering what we should do now.

Tails: "We need to follow the plan but I'm not sure what to do with Sonic.

Shadow: "We need to get him somewhere safe before he wakes up again." (I check him out making sure he really was asleep.)

Tails places a hand on her shoulder and I lifted Sonic up. I carefully carried Sonic through the woods as Amy held his hand. Not much was heard from Amy besides her sniffling. We weren't far from the hideout but I needed questions answered.

Shadow: "Answer me truly." (I slay glaring at her.) "What exactly happened? How did you get to where you were before any of this happened?"

Amy: "Knuckles told me to leave and I tried to run through the woods. (She says looking tired but determined.) "He sounded crazy but he put a cloth over my face. "

Tails: "Did he do anything to you to hurt you?"

Amy: "Well not exactly." (Her voice trembles.) "He kept me in his basement but when I tried to escape through a small window he didn't really take that so easily." (She took a deep breathe.)

Shadow: "What did he talk about to you? Did he mention anything to you like plans?" (I nod.)

Amy: "He talked about killing you guys if you weren't able to accept our relationship." (She took a moment to think back, her eyes narrowing in concentration.) "I tried to convince him to let me go but he told me he changed me. He knew that whatever he did to you guys was wrong."

I was about to speak until I noticed that we finally made it to Rouges hideout. I sigh opening the secret door to let Tails and Amy inside and then I followed behind. Knuckles and Rouge watch us wall inside. Rouge's eyes widened running to Amy and giving her a huge kiss on the cheek.

Rouge: "I'm so glad you're ok!" (She finally let's go of her giving her a huge smile.)

Knuckles: "How was this apart of the plan?" (He points at Sonic's corpse.)

I shrug my shoulders as I walk over to a bed placing Sonic down. Rouge closes the entrance securing it with security as we all gather up next to Sonic.

Knuckles: "We can't keep him like this forever." (He looks down on Sonic worried.) "We have to figure out what's causing him to do all this."

Tails: "We're going to have to start examining him until we find what's wrong."

Shadow: "Right. Let's search him throughly but let's strap him up so he doesn't wake up angry." (I say looking around for something to keep him down.)

Rouges: "I have some straps to keep him down but I'm not sure if it'd work." (She walks back to the closet pulling out a few straps. Knuckles her out with it.)

Shadow: "You have everything in there don't you." (I glance over at them.)

She smirks and we all help Rouge tie him to the bed besides Amy. Amy stood in a corner watching us tie him down as she played with her fingers but now we just needed to figure out what caused Sonic to do this.
