Lost feelings...

Awakening

Amy's POV:

It was difficult to stay up that night but I wake up to the light of dawn that crept into the bedroom. I open my eyes slowly, raking in my surroundings. I felt Sonic still onto me. The morning light grew brighter and Sonic sits up on the bed to stretch. His expression softened when he turned around to see me just watching him.

Sonic: "Goodmorning Amy." (His voice eerily calm.) "How long have you've been awake?"

I sit up beside him my heart pounded with determination and fear. I ignored his question staring to the side instead and he hops off the bed unlocking the door.

Sonic: "Are you atleast hungry?" (He gives me a warm smile.)

I nod my and he walks away while I take a moment to get off the bed. I walk out the bedroom scratching my head as I see him making breakfast.

Amy: "We need to talk." (I say controlling myself and watching my word.)

He tilts his head slightly but I could tell he had a smirk on his face.

Sonic: "Is this about yesterday?" (He says placing the newly cooked pancakes on a plate.)

Amy: "You hurt our friends and locked me in your basement this is something I'd never thought you'd ever do."

Sonic: "Again like I said, they were just in the way. I had to." (He shook his head.) "Nothing is going to get in between me and you."

Amy: "No, Sonic, you didn't. We still could've been here if you didn't." (My heart ached at his words.)

Sonic: "Don't you get it, Amy? I did this for us so we could be together without anybody getting in our way." (He clenched his fists on the counter and by the tone of his voice I knew he was getting angrier.)

Amy: "But this isn't right. We can't be together like this. Not when you're hurting the people that care about you the most." (My voice shaked.) "Please Sonic you need to see what you're doing is not ok."

Sonic: "Enough!" (He turns his head around as he yells at me.) "If they can't understand that were meant for each then I'll make them!" (He steps closer to me with eyes full of anger.)

Amy: "Sonic w-we can fix this." (My eyes full of tears.) "We can get you the help you need. J-ju-" (I say before he cuts me off.)

Sonic": "I don't need help and there's nothing that needs to be fixed!" (He yells before he gives me a long stare and turning his back towards me with his shoulders tense.)

I watched him completely giving up with a heart that broke for my friends. I heard Sonic take a deep breathe while again tears slowly rolled down my face and he places down a plate of pancakes right infront of me.

Sonic: "I made you pancakes now eat it." (He demands.)

I stared at the plate and I felt a pang of hunger but also betrayal and sadness. I refused to let Sonic seeing me and I covered my face from him but I silently choked on my tears. I felt his eyes on me and I hear him walk up to me. He drags a chair towards me and sits besides me.

Sonic: "Amy," (His voice softened.) "Listen to me. I didn't mean to make you cry. I...I just want you to understand." (He grabs my hand and caresses it.)

I was a bit startled but I look up at him and I shake my head.

Amy: "This isn't right. P-please Sonic." (I say as tears start welling up.)

Sonic: "I don't know what to do." (He says wiping the tears off my face.) "I care and love you so much and I just really wanted us to be together." (He says quietly.)
