Lost feelings...

At the party

Amy's POV:

I left my house and went straight to the party. It looked kind of cool, and I saw most of my friends there too and some other strangers. I saw Tail's and Knuckles talking together and I saw Sonic walking through the door.

He was wearing a suit and I thought he looked handsome in it. I wanted to go up to Sonic but I felt someone grab my hand and pull me away.

Rouge: "You look drop dead gorgeous Amy!" (She smiles and drops my hand.)

Amy: "Hey Rouge!" (I wave and smile back.) "You look so gorgeous too! But where's Shadow? I was expecting him to come too. (I look around for him.)

Rouge: "Oh, don't bother looking for him. He said he wasn-"

Shadow: "Wasn't what?" (Shadow says cutting Rouge off and walking through a pile of people.)

Rouge: "Yeah don't cut me off again." (She crosses her arms.)

Shadow stares at me up and down and I give him a smile.

Rouge: "Were going to get some drinks Amy. (She says pointing at a table full of snacks and drinks.) "We'll be back but I see Sonic over there giving you a look."

Shadow smirks and I look over to see that Sonic was actually staring at me but he quickly looked away when he saw that I noticed.

Rouge: "Anyways we'll see you later." (She winks at me and waves goodbye.)

I didn't know what else to do so I took a seat at this table by myself while everyone else looked like they were having fun. I watched them and I started eating some chips that were at the table.

???: "What's a beautiful girl like you doing all by herself?"

Amy: "Oh uhm..." (I was confused at first but I thought he was nice.) "Nothing really...this party is boring."

???: "Where are all your friends? (He says taking a seat next to me.)

Amy: "They're here somewhere but I'm not sure where they are right now." (I sigh.)

???: "I completely agree with you though. With how fun this place looks its extremely boring..." (He says looking over at the crowd.)

Amy: "And your friends? Where are they?"

???: "They're here too but I'm just like you, bored. I was just wondering if you wanted to be my friend though?" (He smiles.)

Amy: "That's sounds nice! Sure I'll be your friend!"

I was actually kind of happy that I was able to make a new friend.

???: "That's great! Why don't we go somewhere else? Away from everyone."

Amy: "I mean sure we can but I don't even know your name yet."

???: "Uhh...my name is Markus." (He looks to the side.)

I had this weird feeling in my stomach but I forget about it.

Amy: "Oh ok then! Where do you want to go?"

Markus: "How about we leave this party and take a walk outside for a bit."

We both get up from our seats.

Amy: "Are you sure we should do that?" (I started getting a bit worried.)

Markus: "It's just so we could get to know each other a bit more." (He grabs my hand and pulls me to do the door.)

We leave the party and grab onto my arms with how cold it was. He puts his jacket over my shoulders.

Amy: "O-oh thank you. Are you not cold?"
