Billie Joe Armstrong was bored with his life. Living in a small town in California wasn't what a teenage boy needed but here he was.
There was nothing to do to entertain young people in the town so Billie did what he did best. He wrote songs, he started a band with his best friend and he smoked a lot of weed.
Lottie was a girl that didn't fit in, no matter where she went. It didn't help when her mother decided to uproot their lives and move thousands of miles from their hometown of Nottingham, England, to Oakland, California.
She wasn't expecting to become popular, she wasn't expecting to have an amazing time in this tiny town but she certainly wasn't expecting to fall in love with the green eyed boy from her English class.
