I sit on a comfy butt
pillow and watch
Tetsu cook away,

realizing how much
of a failed cook I
used to be.

My Mom tried teaching
me yet I just lost interest
all together back then.

Ah, speaking of that….

I miss them.

I don't have any
tears to shed now.

My nose is stuffy
enough and plus

pleasing and nonetheless
mouthwatering.
