A/N

For the sake of the plot, wala pang SHS dito. So technically, hanggang Grade 10 lang then college na :) Mabait din Dad ni Alice rito! Hahaha! :>

---

A few months had already passed, and now they're already in the second quarter of their last year as secondary students. Thankfully, Alice and Y/N still remained in the same section, and even more, they're still seat mates.

The random teasing moments didn't disappear, but both teenagers could really say that their relationship had developed. Alice still teases Y/N about her real feelings about her, but Y/N just chooses to shrug it off while knowing that she clearly feels the same about the girl.

"Bubby? Hindi ka mag e-eat ng meryenda?" Alice asked, sitting beside her close friend while holding a plate of cookies that she baked earlier (of course with the help of her yaya). "Later na, tatapusin ko lang basahin 'to."

"No laters! Mas masarap 'tong cookies kapag warm, trust me," Alice retorted, grabbing a piece then placing it in front of Y/N's mouth. Y/N rolled her eyes, taking a small bite of the cookie before reading again. Alice pouted, thinking that the cookies she baked didn't satisfy her friend.

Alice kept her mouth sealed, letting out a sigh while finishing the cookie that Y/N just bit.

"Ayaw mo ba? Ibibigay ko na lang 'to kay Dad." Alice asked coldly, cleaning the crumbs that fell on the table. Y/N looked at her, eyebrows furrowed. "As far as I know, Tito has diabetes."

"Edi kila Kuya Eddie na lang, ayaw mo naman ata eh." the Chinita girl replied, mumbling the last part while rolling her eyes. "Hala siya! Sabi ko teka lang, 'di ba?" Y/N exclaimed, standing up to follow Alice to the kitchen.

Y/N laughed before hugging Alice's back, but Alice just dodged her. "Magbasa ka na ro'n," Alice said, her voice even colder this time. "Give me the cookies first. Kakainin ko habang nagbabasa ako."

Alice rolled her eyes, turning around, then forcefully giving the plate to Y/N. The Chinese girl walked away, her footsteps heavy, while Y/N followed her.

Y/N grabbed her bag and book, rushing to catch up to Alice, who is now on the second floor of their home. Unfortunately for her, Alice managed to lock the door before she could catch up.

Y/N knocked on the door gently, looking around the floor. Alice stood behind the door, placing her palm over her chest to feel her heart racing once again. Despite the hint of annoyance that she was feeling, she knew deep down that she couldn't resist her friend.

Alice opened the door, her face red yet poker. "Ano?" she asked, forcing an annoyed tone. Y/N ignored her back, storming inside the room. Alice rolled her eyes, locking the doorknob before following her friend, who is now sitting on the floor.

Alice rolled her eyes again before plopping down on the soft sheets of her bed.

"Anong oras ka uuwi?" Alice asked. Y/N shrugged her shoulders, "Can I stay for the night?" she asked, looking over at Alice. The Chinese girl rolled her eyes, sitting up. "Ayaw ko nga!" she exclaimed, furrowing her brows to look like she's annoyed by the idea of her friend staying the night.

Y/N released a bitter chuckle. "Okay. Bakit galit na galit ka?" she asked, continuing to read the book while munching on the cookies. Alice felt a pang of guilt when she heard the tone of her friend. She cleared her throat before laying down again, hugging the teddy bear that Y/N gave her on a random day after class.

Y/N got bored of the book that she was reading, so she just placed it inside her bag again. She stood up, the plate of cookies still in her hand, while carrying her bag on the other hand.

Alice looked at her, then immediately let go of the teddy bear that she was hugging. "Uuwi na ako." Y/N said.
