Scenario

Guo Hua Ping or Alice Guo, a Chinese high school transfer student, meets her unexpected nemesis, Y/N Rivas.

It was an uneventful day for Y/N since she will just have her classes today. She was already in her third year as a high school student, and she managed to do it without having a single boy meddle with her studies.

Well, fair enough; she rejected all of them. And she doesn't feel any ounce of guilt that she did that. Y/N always believed that having a love life at such a young age is inappropriate, not to be a kill joy or anything.

Y/N got to her school extra early to review for a quiz on her first subject for today, Math. When she entered their classroom, she met no one. Well, it was still 6 in the morning after all, and their first class starts at 7.

Y/N sat on her desk, fixing her eyeglasses on her nose bridge. She made sure to fix everything before settling on her seat, opening her Mathematics booklet so she could finally review and start practicing solving problems.

After 20 minutes, her classmates finally started arriving. Did she mind? Of course not. Truthfully, her classmates always tease her that she's a nerd. Are they true? Maybe. Maybe not.

As Y/N expected, her classmates just started chitchatting with each other rather than reviewing for their quiz later on. Tapos sila pa ang may gana na mag reklamo kapag mababa 'yung score nila.

She closed her booklet down when their math teacher finally went inside their room. Y/N looked at their teacher, who is now with a random girl.

"Good morning, everyone. I would like to request silence before continuing," their teacher started. Of course everyone silenced down.

"So, as you can see, I have a new girl here with me. Hua Ping, can you please introduce yourself to them?" our Mathematics teacher gently asked the girl who was standing beside her.

The girl cleared her throat before eyeing everyone in the classroom.

"Good morning, everyone. My Chinese name is Guo Hua Ping, and my Filipino name is Alice Guo. I hope we'll be close with one another. You can call me Ping or Alice for short." the girl introduced herself, an obviously fake smile plastered on her face.

Y/N rolled her eyes before looking away from Alice as their teacher continued introducing her.

"Ms. Guo is a transferee from China, everyone. Buti na lamang at maayos na siyang mag Tagalog at English. I hope everyone will help Guo adjust, okay?"

They all nodded, but what did Y/N do? Of course, she didn't nod. "You can sit beside Ms. Rivas, Ms. Guo." their teacher said, earning whispers from everyone in the room.

Y/N rolled her eyes as Alice made her way towards the empty seat beside Y/N. She sat down on the seat gently before smiling over at Y/N, who is now trying her best not to roll her eyes once again.

Alice immediately cleared her throat when she felt the girl beside her cold demeanor. Soon enough, their teacher finally distributed the quiz papers to them. Y/N managed to finish it in under 10 minutes, even though their allotted time was for 30 minutes.

Alice sighed, as she was having quite some trouble with the last question in the quiz. She forgot the formula that needs to be used. She looked over at Y/N who is now blankly staring at the wall clock.

The Chinese girl shook at the thought of asking her seatmate since she doesn't even know if that's considered cheating already. Alice closed her eyes as she tried to remember the formula that she needed.
