It was official. The All Valley Under 18 Tournament was underway for Cobra Kai.
This would mean that the students would have to train harder than they ever did before. They would be completely focused on one thing, winning the championship for the valley once and for all. But first, Chaluai had some business to tend to. First mission? Talking to Robby Keene about Samantha Larusso.

So here she stood in the hot weather, watching Robby and his skateboard go up and down the halfpipe. He did a big move, kicking his legs and board over his head before going back down the ramp again. He continued the same technique on the other side.

The girl was about to interrupt his skateboarding session, but this time she noticed him plant his hand as he did before, holding himself in the position and straightening his legs. The boy had held his strength in a one-armed handstand, and from afar it looked very impressive.

Lu clapped, while now gaining the boy's attention. "Okay, all-star, we get it, you're good at skateboarding."

Robby hurriedly repositioned himself, smiling at the girl in front of him. Yes, he was happy to see her, but he definitely wanted to speak to her about her weird behavior ending the call the other night. He knew her too well for her to say she was "sick", but he still offered her anything she would have wanted.

Robby started, "I thought the Chaluai Wong hates warm weather, what are you doing out here?"

It's like he knew her too much. Like, the back of his hand. She internally laughed because it was so true. Lu despised the sun because it led to humidity, and it made her feel, in her words, "yucky."

"I, uh, wanted to talk to you about last night."

Lu looked away from the boy, putting her eyes on the skateboard he had currently been using before continuing.

"I don't think it's a good idea for you to be talking to Sam."

Robby furrowed his eyebrows in confusion, waiting for the girl in front of him to give him a good reason why.

"She has a boyfriend, and I happen to know who he is. And I think they're going through some things, so maybe you should just stay away from that drama, you know?" Lu finished, finally having the courage to maintain eye contact with him.

"Lu," Robby spoke, putting his hands on her shoulders to ease what he was about to say. "You're my best friend and I get it, you want to look out for me, I really do. But, you can't just tell me to stay away, I mean, I work for her dad—"

"Yeah, I do too, but you don't see me being buddy-buddy with his daughter at dinners." Lu interjected, taking the boy's hands off her shoulders gently.
