Thalias POV

Nico placed another plate by the bed and sat down next to me.

"Baby.. Please eat. You need energy." he said, pushing the plate closer to me. I sat up and moved against the wall, taking to plate and setting it in my lap.

"Baby I have to tell you something that will hopefully make everything better."

I looked up at him and nodded.

"They caught him. . and by they I mean Percy. He is in a 'hidden location' That he has. You have to kill him.."

A mixture of emotion flowed over me. I took the plate out of my lap and crawled into Nicos lap, wrapping my arms around his neck and resting my head on his shoulder.

We sat like this for a while before he had to get up and go help Percy with something. I leaned against the wall and sighed.

Nicos POV

I walked away from Thalia, feeling immediately guilty. She is hurting bad.  She just lost her baby. Granted, it was a child that was not supposed to be brought into the world, but it was still human, and her baby. She hadn't been sleeping or eating. She doesn't leave the room.  Hopefully her killing him herself will make her better.

For the baby.

Thalias POV.

I put on 'real clothing' and threw my hair up. I have to this.

For him. Or her. That baby is dead because of him.

My baby.

I slipped on some toms and walked into the living room. Everyone lightly smiled at me, as Annabeth approached me, and giving me that look. She hugged me tight until I hugged back.

"Ladies, It's getting late. I love you both and I am glad that you are up and at'm Thals, but I can't have anyone else find where he is. Let's go." He said, giving me a sympathetic look. I nodded and Annabeth reached for my hand, smiling at me and leading me to the car. I heard Nico chuckle before following us out there.

The car ride was short. The windows were blacked out so we couldn't disclose the location to anyone else.

The car stopped and Nico opened the door to let us out. He walked towards the warehouse and pulled a gun out of his pocket, offering it to me. I hesitatingly reached for it, eventually taking it and holding it in my hand.I walked inside and saw a very, chained up Luke. It broke my heart. He looked tore up. Beaten. So many bruises, and cuts.

Annabeth, Percy and Nico stopped behind me, but close by. I walked over closer to him. I could hear Nico tapping his foot, worried.

I turned and looked at them.

"Can.... Can you guys leave? I just.. I need to do this myself." I whimpered. They all nodded and walked out.

Luke looked up at me and immediately let his head fall.

"I am sorry." He spoke with a raspy voice.

Tears brimmed, and blinking them back became harder and harder.

I dropped the gun and walked over to him, dropping to my knees. He looked up confused. I placed my hand on his cheek and rested my head against his gently. He let out a sigh of relieve.

"You know Luke. I spent a lot of time with the hunters. Killed a lot of men. But I can't kill you."

"Thalia.." He spoke, confused. I reached for the key I snagged from Percy's pocket and un-shackled his arms. He fell. I helped him back up and helped him sit down. Once he was sitting, with his feet still shackled, He shook his head.

"Thalia.. Please.. Pick up the gun. Kill me. Please. What I .. He did was wrong. " He begged. I shook my head.

"Thalia please.. I killed th-.. he killed our baby. I can't control him.  You need to kill me. It is the only way. Please put me out of my misery... I love you.. Please.." He begged.

"Luke.. I love you. I am not mad at you for what he did. I can't kill you. I can't. I can't do it."

"Thalia PLEASE. I AM BEGGING YOU. Please.." He whimpered, tears escaping his eyes.

"He will come back if you don't do it, babe. He finds a way to bring us both back so he can take you down. It is getting hard to fight him back. Please.. Hurry.." He cried. I nodded and cried along with him. I gently placed my hand onto his cheek and gently, kissed him lightly. He smiled and laid his head against mine.

"I love you.."

"I love you too.." I chocked out.

I walked back and grabbed the gun, taking the safety off. I moved back over to him and pointed the gun at him, biting my lip.

"I'm sorry it has to end this way." I chocked out.

"I'm sorry he did this to you." He said, smiling at me. I slid my hand over the trigger and took a deep breathe in, slowly moving my hand over the trigger and pulling it. The echo of the shot moved through out the room. I stayed where I was, watching his body fall, lifeless.

He's free.

I stood there, still with a sad look on my face. I dropped the gun and didn't move. I heard Nico run in, Percy and Annabeth following behind. Nico immediately wrapping his arms around me. I couldn't move. Percy nodded at me before walking over to his body, making sure he was gone before starting a fire out of planks. I watched as Percy and Annabeth threw his body in.

A wave of sadness and relieve washed over me, but I couldn't cry. I turned and hugged Nico. This is what Luke would want. He is free from his demons. He would want me to be happy. With Nico. I sighed and looked up at him.

"I love you Nico..." I said before leaning up and pecking his lips. He smiled and leaned down, kissing me. I smiled into the kiss and relaxed.

This is what he wanted.

He is free.
