"She's helping him. It's good. It's actually good." The agent says, her tone serious.
"How could being near a suicide bomber be any good?" Freen sighed, her breath sounding harsh.
"She's trying to help him and build a connection. It could work." The agent gave Freen a flat stare plus raise of eyebrows.
Freen sighs walking away and joining her friends, "Why does she always tries to be the smartest in the room?"
"Not when you're in it." Nam says trying to ease the tension.
"Come on Freen, you jumped infront of a gun. She's only trying to do her job." Kade adds.
"You need to calm down." Heng says grabbing Freen by the shoulder.
"How dare you tell me to calm down! It's my wife in there. The mother of my children!!" Freen went off.
A warm hand on her shoulder grounded her, "This isn't helping anyone." She looked up to see Rachel, Becky's mother. The worry in her eyes only added more pain.
"We have an ID." One of the officers says.
"His name is Oliver Monroe." He adds.
"Shit!" Agent Danvers curses under her breath.
"What? What is it?" Freen asks coming to her side.
Agent Danvers sighs, "He's got BPD (Borderline personality disorder)."
"That makes him impulsive, unstable, and unpredictable." Nam states.
"We can't do anything to provoke him. Standing down is the only option now. I'm sorry, I know this is not what you want to hear, but unless he makes contact we can't do anything." The agent says placing a hand on Freen's shoulder.
Just then multiple shots went off. Freen's entire body stiffened in an instant.
"Shit!!" Agent Danvers curses before moving towards the screen.
"What happened?" She asks.
"We lost the footage." Someone says.
"You have to go in right now." Freen screams tears falling from her eyes.
"What the hell are you waiting for?" Freen chokes out.
"We can't."
"How long are you going to wait? Until they are all dead?" Heng tugged Freen back warily.
"Fuck!! Do something." She cries, more tears come and start falling from her eyes and she can't. She can't fight it anymore so she just breaks down.

"Don't worry. I meant to do that." The gunman says getting off the bed and walking back and forth pointing to the cameras.
"Did you seriously think I don't know about the cameras? I was actually giving them a show. But the show is over now."
Becky was totally shaken. One minute she was dressing his wounds and the next she heard the shots which immediately sent her to the floor, covering her head, "Why are you doing this?" She cried holding her head in her hands.
"It's something personal." He said with an evil smile.
He walks towards Becky before kneeling down to be at her level, "Tell me Doctor, do you have kids?"
Becky doesn't dare answer, she keeps her head down looking down at the floor. But the pressing of a sudden cool metal which she knows is the gun to the side of her face makes her tremble, the tip of the gun moves across her jaw before coming down to rest at her chin, he lifts her chin up making her look straight at him, he was waiting for her answer.
"Y...yes." Becky responds her voice barely a whisper.
His eyes glinted, "Good. Now tell me if your child's life is on the line, would you be willing to take another? Would you be willing to kill someone?"
Becky swallowed hard, "N..no. I'm a doctor...I save lives."
A smirk formed on his face, "Not even for you child?"
Becky let out a deep breath, "No!" She said firmly.
"You see doctor, I think you are wrong. I think everyone including you, are capable of so much worse." He says with a sinister smile.
"How about this?" He made her stand up slowly, holding her shaky hand. Becky looked stunned.
"Take this." He places the gun in her hand, "Hold it right there." He says pointing it towards him.
Becky's hands started shaking uncontrollably, the weight of the metal threatening to bring her down any minute.
"Now, you hold the power. You can put an end to this right now. All you have to do is pull that trigger. I will be dead. You will be free. The nightmare is over." He says grinning.
"Now the question is, can you do that?" The menacing look he gives her send shivers down her spine.
"Come on doctor, look around. Look at your patients, the nurses, your doctor friend. Look at their faces, so much fear right? You can save them all." He pauses before pointing to his body where the explosives are strapped, "Not to mention if these go off, I will be talking this entire floor with me. How many lives is that? But you, you can save them all. Just one life for the many. Isn't that a fair trade?"
Becky started sweating profusely, her legs felt like jelly. She couldn't hold on, just when she thought she had lost it, he moved forward his right hand on the gun as he brought it back up and placed the nozzle straight to his head right between his eyes and holding it right there, "Don't you want to find out if you can kill someone?" He asks staring at her glassy eyes.
"Do it!" He growls.
Becky closes her eyes, willing her to do it,"No!!!" She breathed, letting go of the gun and bringing her hands up to cover her face and silently sobbing.
He suppressed a sigh, "You disappoint me doctor. I actually wanted to disappoint you, cause the gun is obviously empty."
He moves backwards, away from Becky, "You held on to your morals. Bravo!! Bravo indeed." He says clapping his hands in mock appreciation.
"I truly respect you. So how about this, you wanna save lives? I will give you another chance." He suddenly moves forward grabbing her hands and moving forward, dragging her along with him, "Come with me."
They come to a stop at the nurses station, where there are numerous patients files, computers and a phone, "I'm pretty sure they are going nuts out there. So how about we make a phone call and you tell them exactly what I tell you and if they do it, maybe we can all go unharmed." He says gesturing with the gun as if he's making a point.
"You ready sweetheart?" He chuckled, while Becky grimaced at the endearment.
She nodded.
"Good. Like I said you hold the power here but if you go off topic, I'm gonna start shooting them one by one. If you don't want that, just tell them exactly what I say. No playing the hero. Is that clear?" He asked pointing the gun at the hostages.
She looked between him and them unable to form any coherent words for a second. "Y..yes."Becky's response came out, gutted.
