we all pile into angie's car, and the cityscape of manhattan slowly unfolds around us.

angie turns to us from the driver's seat. "alright, let's go over the plan one more time. michelle, you need to stay completely out of sight during the ceremony. we don't want to risk anyone recognizing you."

i nod, feeling the weight of the situation. "got it. i'll stay low and watch from a distance."

solange, sitting beside me, leans in. "there's some short hills that overlooks the ceremony area. you can stay there. it'll give you a clear view without being in the crowd."

i take a deep breath, trying to calm my nerves. "sounds good."

angie glances in the rearview mirror, her expression serious. "and remember, if anything goes wrong, just stick to the plan. we've got your back. or cause a scene i don't know."

the drive is filled with a mix of conversation and comfortable silence. angie keeps us entertained with stories and updates, her excitement palpable.

solange and i exchange glances, a mix of anticipation and anxiety in our eyes.

we pull up to the luxurious penthouse and
angie parks in a lot filled with luxurious cars, and the area is decked out with extravagant decorations that read "shawn and beyoncé's wedding."

the car park is also surrounded by lush greenery and sweeping hills, with a view of the ocean and beach where i can see mini people setting up the ceremony.

as we step out of the car, excitement mingles with nervous energy.

we had a plan to split up - solange and angie heading inside and me going to the hills and finding a spot. but as the two start heading toward the venue, i hiss, "wait, y'all! y'all! i need to go to the bathroom!"
